Regardless of whether or not I have got it right I have one anyway :)

I had one ages ago but it must of been so hard for everyone to solve :xmastree:

In what year was a film made starring a unique breed of dog and a young boy.

what was the boys name and the dogs pedigree name and what was the agreement made after the film.

1956/Goodbye My Lady/A few Basenjis were used: My Lady of the Congo (main actor dog), My Lord of the Congo, Flageolet of the Congo/The boy actor got to keep My Lady of the Congo after filming.

Thank you, Wikipedia!

ETA: Boy's name was Skeeter, played by Brandon De Wilde!

:) , silverdog, we have the same book, seems like, as can happen, names may have been changed for the movies, my apologies to those who got their screen names correct. :(

Phew, stonebridge, your questions are way beyond my addled brain :xmastree:

As we have a working breed, ;) can anyone name all the ANKC working breeds recognised here and distinguish between herding and tending dogs?, and which are loose eyed and upright?

To start we have Shelties who are a herding breed, upright, and a Briad is a tending breed. :D
