The second Sunday of July came around way too fast for me...lol, just wondering if anyone is available on the third Sunday of the month, the 15th of July, instead?? Since there hasn't been any responses regarding what we want for lunch and no one has really decided what to bring yet, I'll make the executive decision to have a BBQ again! And, I hope this isn't too forward, but in the past when we have announced a BBQ will take place, we have sometimes lacked in typical BBQ type foods, and ended up with too many snacks and sweets, and not enough proper food for lunch. We also often have leftover unopened packs of chips, etc. at the end of the day. So, I'm always happy to bring along cutlery, plates, serviettes, condiments, etc., but I've decided to make a list of suggested contributions for our BBQ food. Hopefully we can tick things off through the week, and if there's anything important lacking, I'll grab it! Sausages Hamburgers Veg. burgers/veg. option Chicken Leafy salad Pasta salad Potato salad Coleslaw Bread/bread rolls and butter/margarine sweets x 2? soft drink If anyone has any more suggestions, please feel free, I know my list isn't very inventive...lol :) Hope I haven't been too rude to mention this and I look forward to seeing you all!!
