My first ever DSLR and before that I used the SLR my Dad got for his 21st birthday (but he made me give it back when I moved out of home at 21, so it has been a while and I am very out of practice) I'm using a Canon 50mm lens. tlc Posted December 17, 2012 Share Posted December 17, 2012 (edited) Day 17 Just got a package in the post, My sister sent me her SLR, they were going to throw it out. she asked me if I wanted it and I said hell yes. It's practically mint, they hardly used it and paid over $1000 for it. On ebay now they are selling for $120 So sad! Anyhow I put the batteries in and it won't go so I am assuming they are flat, so I'm going to check out ebay for some new batteries and some film.
