pesh
Morning All Have a question......... I downloaded picasa 3 a while back. The is now picasa 4. If I download picasa 4, will that just update picasa3? If not, what do I do? My worry is I'll loose the edited photos. Thx Sharon :D

persephone
Open picasa. Go to "help" up the top . Click Click on "search for updates" Then it will tell you what's needed ...and , possibly download a newer version . I have always updated this way ..and not lost anything (mind you , I only ever keep about a month's worth at a time in Picasa anyway ..the rest are on an external Hard Disk Drive ) Have fun :)

tlc
Always a good idea to export your edited photos to a folder once you edit them anyway, just in case. You can choose quality and size so if you want to be able to upload to forum or photobucket you can resize smaller. I use Lightroom and always do two exports of every session one at full resolution and one at an exceptable file size for the web with watermark.
