Rebanne
I no longer follow Greyhound racing etc as much as I used to but I recall thinking every time a track was re done or new there was a lot of problems with it. I know with my local track, when it was re done, there were problems, more injuries and yes deaths. The local dog men all said they were never consulted, there was some university educated person who designed it because he knew best. He had the qualifications. They didn't. Mairead
There is also something called the Inter-Code Agreement (1998) which allocates % TAB money to each code. Last figures I found were Horseracing gets 70%, Harness Racing 17% and Greyhound Racing 13%.
