  1. What else is on? I have entered a dog show plus there were at least 3 or more horse shows I could have entered as well! So nothing much unless you are a tragic like me who tries to do too many different things
  2. Lovely photos CC Did you ever get around to looking at the ones you took of my ponies? There is too much on the weekend of 11th September!
  3. Is the puppy staring adoringly up at you one of the ones you can choose from?
  4. Joelle, no pictures from you either? :D Poor girls Rubystar At this stage if everything goes to plan we will be getting a Lappy puppy in March and a Kelpie puppy 2 months later! How come everything has to happen at the same time? Course we could still end up with neither
  5. Pictures... He isn't really there until you post them :D And Boxers are too lovely not to be able to drool over :D

  7. The WA entry form has a spot in the top left corner where it says "To be held under the Rules and Regulations of The Canine Association of WA (inc)" so I would think they would be slightly different. And it also appears that WA didn't bother to change it when CAWA became DogsWest
  8. Go look it up on the Dogwest website and tell me then I am a bit concerned that it isn't ok for WA if WA isn't on the list of States :p Or are we really not a part of Australia anymore?
  9. I was going to do the ET this year with Banjo but didn't get around to getting a bike! And the dates were no good for me anyway :p Ncarter, Zora is a Brittany
  10. So it doesn't have the CAWA info on it? How different the form is otherwise?
  11. I would have said Trixie was higher energy than Banjo
  12. Can you even use it for WA entries? I just downloaded it and it doesn't give WA as an option for State If you can, does it set it out exactly like the WA show entry form?
  13. My 2 kelpies are currently curled on the bed fast asleep while I am on the computer As long as they get enough mental stimulation then they are fine
  14. Also on the 20th is the Spitz Dog show and an obedience trial - both of which I am entered in! Wonder how badly they will clash Midland agility is at Canine due to availability of equipment Same reason Perth is
  15. Well done to Charlie Oh and Boxagirl, I forgot to say earlier but your new little one is lovely! Hopefully you can bring her home soon with everyone healthy and happy! I won't be there tonight since I never am! Aim is to get to ACWA tomorrow if it isn't raining though
  16. They are often more expensive. Although once a puppy buyer booked direct as the quote was cheaper, he also booked a crate which they said wouldn't be a problem. I rocked up and they took one look at the puppy and said that they quoted wrong and it was actually double the price of the initial quote - and they don't hire crates so we have to buy one even though that wasn't what the puppy buyer was told! The joy with going through a shipping company is that 1) they know how big a pup of a certain weight is and 2) they charge less and don't change it on you after the booking is taken! As to Dogtainers if I can avoid it I will never use them again. The one time I did the pup didn't get on a connecting flight. When I rang back to find out exactly what had gone on and when the pup would arrive I was told that it was my fault because I didn't allow enough time between the two flights (um, they booked it not me!) and I was verbally abused. When asked what flight the pup would be on in the morning I was told that it would be sometime mid-morning as they would not start work before 9am so an 11am flight was the earliest they could do So my poor 9 week old pup had a horrible start to his life away from his breeder An 8 hour trip (including time before boarding) ended up taking over 24 hours Jetpets are also much cheaper flying to and from Perth
  17. ((((hugs)))) to both you and your family Ptolomy and Emery. RIP Lara and Zeus
  18. 30 mins is nothing Tiggy! Takes me 55 mins :p RS, no comment... :D
  19. Maybe Banjo wants to try retrieving :D I could always pretend he is a working Lab
  20. Crossbreeding of Kelpies and Border Collies is usually done when both dogs are proven working dogs. They are a similar type although there are differences between them obviously. But there are no major differences in structure or function that should cause a problem crossbreeding
  21. And 3) has lots and lots and lots of pages! I bought a copy. Put it away safe to look at when I got a chance. Then promptly forgot about it! Thanks for reminding me guys
