  1. From reading the schedule, I imagine that Mr Besoff will have his own judging ring, and will be judging Chihuahuas, Bearded Collies and Collie (Rough & Smooth) in that order. So depending on the entry of Chihuahuas, you shouldn't have any problems with Borders and Collies clashing.
  2. The Committee of Belgrave & District Kennel Club (Vic) wish to advise that Mrs Bernadette Lawton, the contracted judge for Group 6 at their upcoming Championship Show (September 2013)has had to withdraw from this appointment. The Committee further advises that Mr Wayne Douglas has kindly accepted an invitation to judge Group 6 at this show. Please cross post as necessary Gael Wilcock Show Secretary
  3. For people who forgot yesterday, I will also be at Dandenong Show this coming Sunday.
  4. For exhibitors in Victoria, if you have entries for the Boxer Association, the Varieties of Bichon Related Breeds or Belgrave Kennel Club, you can hand them to me at the Junior Kennel Club Show at KCC Park tomorrow. I will be at the Group 5 ring... Gael Wilcock
  5. It is always possible to pre purchase admission tickets for Melbourne Royal Show. I think Woolworths, any train station, either Ticketmaster or Ticketek too. When it gets closer, just watch papers etc
  6. Hi - sorry for the delay in replying! Busy weekend! email me - [email protected]
  7. Hi - sorry for the delay in replying! Busy weekend! email me - [email protected]
  8. Sorry - that one has already been reserved...
  9. Hi All, Sorting through things, and came across Kennel Club (UK) gazettes, which are destined for the recycling bin, however - in them are interesting articles - titled Judge's Choice.. Breeds involved are Griffon BRuxellois Whippet Papillon Labrador If anyone is interested, I would be pleased to hand them over. They can be collected from me at KCC Park, by arrangement - or posted for interstate folks! I have also listed them on FB - Cheers Gael
  10. The reply about says it is OKAY - so you have no problems in participating at the show - regardless of whether the paperwork has been returned to you! Good luck in the ring!!!!!
  11. I would think that as you have lodged the re reg papers with your state controlling body, then you can start to enter shows. By the time the shows come around, all paperwork should be completed and returned to you.
  12. For example - Minor Puppy is a compulsory class in Vic - but not in other states!
  13. All shows are run under the regulations of the STATE controlling bodies! ie - All Vic shows under the rules and regs of Dogs Victoria, all NSW shows under NSW rules & regs, etc, etc
  14. Amazing record for any breed! Congratulations to all concerned!!!!
  15. I believe that you use the same numbers for each day.
  16. If it was an older gentleman, he was taking private pics - not a professional photographer...
  17. There was no official photographer at the Yarra Glen Shows... Michelle Doe (Collies) was taking photos ringside - is that what you wanted to know?
  18. If there are multiple titles, then it is Ch/NZ Ch, or Sup Ch/NZ Ch Australian never appears in titles in this country.
  19. For Victorian exhibitors planning to enter the Yarra Glen double shows - to be held on Sunday, 3rd March, at KCC Park (page 15 of Dogs Vic Jan gazette) - you are welcome to hand entries to me at Cranbourne Show tomorrow (Sunday) ADI Show on Monday, or the Classic Dog Show next Saturday at KCC Park. Cheers - Gael
  20. Always lots of Aussies at Crufts! I will be there every day, and also for BIS judging! It is a fabulous event, and the way the general public attends in their thousands is amazing. Haven't been for some years, but looking forward to it immensely!!!!

  23. I was not entered, but went to the Park today to celebrate Christmas with friends. It certainly was hot, but fortunately, a breeze and plenty of space, so not too unpleasant. All done and dusted by 12.30 pm - BIS - Shih Tzu, RUBIS - Sheltie. Can't advise much more.. Merry Christmas to all... Gael
  24. To everyone who has entered Belgrave and Dist KC Ch Show (Victoria) on Saturday, 15th September, 2012.. Please note that the date printed on the exhibitor notice is incorrect! The show is most definitely on Saturday, 15th September at KCC Park.. Might not pay the bill!!! LOL Cheers Gael Wilcock Show Secretary
  25. I have to say that I am bemused by your post! To say that you dislike the abbreviation Sup Ch - did you dislike Gr Ch too??? Do you have a problem with the reverting of the Gr Ch qualifications back to the previous 1000 points and nothing else??? How could the abbreviation of the title possibly take the glamour off the award? Winning BIG at any show is an achievement - and I am sure that many people would be delighted to win regardless of the number of points involved. Be proud of your dog and what it has achieved! There would be many who would be thrilled to achieve this distinction, and they may never do it...
