Family Pet Dogue De Bordeauxs Stolen And Killed
Poo-Fong replied to HollyMilo's topic in In The News
There are no words... Off to hug my two Dogues now. Rest well, sweet doggies, I am so sorry. :D Thoughts to their family at this distressing time. -
Cool!!! Do you have any pics KR? I take it yours was powdercoated before you picked it up? The only thing I'm potentially concerned about with the C Crates trolleys is the weight, but I'm a tough cookie
-
SBT123 will be hearing from me...
-
I want to know what you need a purple trolley for...... ;) The answer to that, of course, is that purple is prettier than silver!! Don't you think Moose would look spesh in a purple trolley?? :D
-
oooh, purple sparkly Corgis - you could start a new trend! I think you'd definitely need to use some kind of a sealer, and a prep coat as PF said. Will wait with bated breath to see how it turns out! :D
-
Cool, didn't think about doing it myself Aziah... if you beat me to it I want pictures! Thanks PF, will have a look :D
-
Can any of you lovely DOLers tell me if there is anywhere in Oz that makes coloured show trolleys? I would reaaally like a purple one but it's been many years since my last trolley purchase and that was a plain aluminium one... just wondering if there is anything a bit more 'pretty' these days? TIA

Will be very interested to see what Japanese & Aussie dogs are in there... as the boy in my avatar (my Angel dog Kapper ) is from Japan; he was from Aussie breeding, and he has several descendants in the UK & the US, as well as here in Oz... this bubba might be a 'rellie'! -
HUGE congrats Erin, what a thrill for you! And big pats on the back to your OH - he's a keeper!

Woohoo! Well done Renee & Miss Vegas!!

I want those shoes! They'd look fabo with the suit I purchased from Sway!! Sorry Ellz, they are loooooong gone now!! Does no-one else think they look like shoes that a character from a Brothers Grimm fairytale might wear? The whole big buckle thing? Anyhoo, I loved them at the time and did literally wear them till they fell to pieces *sings* "Everything old is new again........" Nope, I really do like them. I had an EXCELLENT find at an op shop the other weekend.....Rajacadoo-doo-doo, Tassie and I think Maxbox saw them. A pair of brand new, patent black Kumpfs. Flat with a strap and a small buckle on the side. SUPER comfy and for 50 cents I just couldn't say no. They'd never even been worn from the looks of them. Considering they're usually up in the high $80s to purchase new, I think I got a bargain! 50c???? Score!!!! :D Some of my best show outfits over the years have cost less than $10 in total from various op-shops

crikey, what happened to your road then, we live in the next street to you and had no power disruption thankfully. Lots of gum tree branches down though - blasted things they are Donna Where on a different grid & always lose power when you guys dont.its very normal for us The other reason the power was off longer for us was that the transformer on the post outside no 18 had blown up and needed to be replaced... Leigh did try and tell WP on Tues arvo that he thought there was another, more localised problem as they had already fixed the Canning Vale sub-station at that point but they brushed him off when he asked them to send someone out. So when the power was still off at 5am Weds he rang them again! Lo and behold, they send someone out and what do you know - blown transformer ;) We should/could have had power back Tues arvo had they listened... Oh well, a few early nights were probably beneficial! ;)

Hmmmm, choices! Char Char Bull is lovely, awesome steaks but maybe not quite as casual as you are looking for? Not too upmarket/fancy though. Seafood, take your pick - as JJ said anywhere in Fishing Boat Harbour is good! For fish and chips my personal preference is Kailis over Cicerello's, but only just ;) Not sure if it's still there but around the back of the cappuccino strip is/was a place called Sandrino's - they were really good! Italian based menu. Hope you enjoy wherever you eat! ;)

Ok, I went digging for the afore-mentioned photo of moi in a kilt and unfortunately () have had no joy finding it as yet.... however whilst searching I did find this pic... check out the footwear! Can't believe I showed in those shoes Circa 1994-ish....

We do inspections anytime during our opening hours, with the exception of Sundays as we are only open for an hour in the afternoon and it gets fairly busy during that hour and we just don't have the time... When we are open the dogs are usually either out having a run or just about to be so it's not disturbing their quiet time, which is really important to us. Also no inspections during peak periods like school holidays/long weekends etc - this is for the benefit of the dogs as Showdog said; when it's busy we try our best to keep everyone as calm, settled and happy as possible. Other than that, if we are open people are welcome to inspect without a specific appointment time. Definitely no inspections/admissions/people coming and going at odd times throughout the day... we just say to people that it is for the comfort and wellbeing of the dogs currently in our care as they are our priority - and we will extend the same respect & courtesy to your dog if they stay with us ;)

Happy Birthday Valley!! Hope you have a wonderful day and get spoilt rotten! From Moose & I
-
I have one of these!! My OH grew up a 'dog show brat' and has almost zero interest in attending shows nowadays although he's happy to support me in my hobby... he looks after the kids while I'm at shows, manages all the dogs at home (we have boarding kennels as well as our own dogs) and is pretty awesome in my humble opinion . Whilst he's not into dog shows, he is however very supportive of the dog world and is on a few of our controlling body's sub-committees. In return I indulge his passion for motorbikes, and more recently, boats - it works for us!!!
-
Erin, my OH said to tell your OH that the expenses are worth it as one day, he'll appreciate that your weekends are taken up with dog shows so he can do far more interesting stuff like buying a boat and fishing all weekend (Me: )... plus it will be easier to justify the cost involved with a boat in the future if he's generous now

oooh I have that one on video!! - you're just lucky I dont have the technology to get it onto the pooter!! :D Also on video I have me showing a dog circa 1985 in too small yellow t-shirt and too big "bubblegum" jeans - Fortunately no photos but it is quite the look ;) But then I was a dorky 11yo and showing was a lot more relaxed in those days!! Wearing a suit would have made you look out of place Argh but i have us all on video in junior handlers ;)
