  1. How much water does it use MG? What's the go will it be left on the whole time or on a timer?
  2. Mine probably have air con ATM since OH is home and he is an aircon addict - but when he is not I never leave it on for them - they can get inside and it stays cool enough in there. I certainly will not be installing any misting systems for them lol
  3. Mirawee - it was mentioned that the start time would probably be put back until 8pm, and they will have clamshells and a sprinkler. Apparently the temp cutoff for agility trials to be cancelled is 37 degrees.
  4. Apparently it's in May :) Oooh interesting, hmmm not sure we'll be ready though who knows  Woohoo! Congrats Wuffles and Ava :D :D
  5. Wow congrats cleoJ We haven't even had a rallyO trial yet
  6. The member 'Chocolate' is a Basenji breeder here in WA :)
  7. Sooo tempted to post a Nickelback joke :p The Nova/92.9 DJ people annoy me even more than the music - do they know what they sound like? Well we've officially strayed from the category of 'General Dog Discussion'
  8. Yeah Nova's tagline when they started was "sounds different" and they played older songs as well as current, but yeah now they sound exactly like 92.9 - what's the point in having two stations identical? My secondary radio station is Coast FM, they mix it up a bit
  9. Let's get something straight - I do not like Nickelback  Matchbox 20 = mb20 I listen to JJJ probably 80% of the time - better than Nova for sure but they still do some things that annoy me (Like play dubstep when I haven't even had a morning coffee yet ) Yes the Fresh 500 thing (I think that's what it was called?) was good - no repeating songs and a mix from present to the 90s and maybe even some 80s - was very cool.
  10. Yeah I don't know what their fascination with Kanye is
  11. There are some diamonds in the rough though. But sorry, probably no Nickelback in there  You should have voted for them
  12. There is some good stuff in there, amongst the Dubstep (Labrat :p ) and painful indie crap :p
  13. I'm going to miss not having to get to a trial way early to try and fight for a spot Stupid bottom oval parking
  14. Well training has been held on the bototm oval, and it seems okay, so I'm guessing we are back down there - but the agility trial is at Cloverdale this weekend anyway :D
  15. Me too. Vets have puppy pre-school on the floor anyway. But I did hold Trixie rather tightly on my lap once when I was in the waiting room and a dane was walked out and had explosive diarrhoea all over the floor in front of us - there was no way she was going on that floor! ETA I think you are more at risk letting your dog sniff trees etc outside the vet clinic than putting them on the waiting room floor.
  16. Ouch!! That must have been hard on the dogs neck, imagine if it was a more fragile breed....
  17. Jive is a cool name :D Is everyone excited about the upcoming weather? I'm not we have an agility trial on Saturday and it is going to be a 42 deg day with a 26 minimum!
  18. The dog still had it's collar on - the lead clip snapped by the looks of it. It was being filmed on CCTV The guy was obviously just in autopilot - maybe he had something on his mind, thank God the dog was okay I'm sure the guy felt terrible (and copped a nasty injury to his head too)
  19. If he's avoiding playing with you and he was fine doing that in the past then yep I would get him checked for pain. Hope you can find some answers Megan I know it's frustrating
  20. Woohoo - especially pleasing to see the 'white fluffies' doing well :D Congratulations on the JDO title TSD great photo
  21. Oh God that's terrible Poor dog!!!!! That would have hurt
  22. Megan I'm sure you haven't ruined him - don't think like that! If it was me I'd take a break for a few weeks at least - no agility at all - I think that daily training, even if it was for 2 minutes might be a bit much for one of my dogs. Did you have a break over Christmas? But I'm not really a good person to offer advice because I seem to be in an endless circle of taking breaks! New tactic coming soon! Hope you can get his Mojo back.
  23. My Manchester doesn't hold pee in (on her first season she started marking - now I can just take her next to a tree or similar and she will go on command) but she has never ever done a number 2 at our dog grounds or anywhere in public - we recently went away for a few days and thankfully she did do number 2 morning and night so it seems that she can't hold on forever thankfully. Hope your dog has to give in and pee sooner or later Four days is a long time to hold!
