eeek, wasn't his day was it
-
Evolving won a photo session in the MBDA auctions. We were going to have the official photo shoot yesterday in conjunction with the Lappie picnic, but as soon as all the dogs got out of their cars they were covered in mud I took some photos anyway and decided to do the offical shoot another day. I have just started editing the photos and here are a few of the proofs, you can see how wet and muddy poor Bob got Poor Bob

Whiskedaway, glad you have joined in, and what a gorgeous pup. Echo is having fun getting muddy Here is my photo for this week - Week 24 - Bella went to the 2nd Finnish Lapphund Club picnic so just had to get her with the beautiful Lappies. They asked her how she got the name Bella she she explained that she was going to be called Paris, but a Rottie was called Paris so she needed another name. A few of us were sitting on the back steps watching her explore the yard and I said the markings on the top of her head look like a dumbell. From that comment she got the name Bella (Bella=dumBELL) LOL

Great shots everyone TLC - hang this one on the wall how cute is thast

Thanks everyone. I am glad you said this Clyde, I didn't even realise it so went back to my website after reading your post and looked at the photos and what do you know, lots of happy dogs. I went to a photography conference recently and one of the speakers said every photographer has a style even if they don't realise it, he said that he didn't think he did but people could pick his work a mile away, so maybe you have picked my style LOL. Anyway her is a smiley Georgie just for you, and another one I was going to put on originally but missed it somehow

very cute puppy, and cute photos, what is his name?
-
woohoo, I got it right. It is a great effort getting the 4 together like that, I don't know if I would even attempt it with my dogs and I have less LOL
-
It is a Samsung of some sort. 1920 x 1080 and it was the bargain of the century LOL. I did a right click and made everything bigger while keeping the same resolution, so now I can see what I am doing, so much better
-
New members always welcome, we will all be looking forward to your photos
-
LOL, he laughed when I said I got his legs in a photo
-
aaahhh, someone just showed me what to do and now things are looking so much better. Not chucking 3 week old monitor in the bin yet
-
I have a new monitor and it is doing my head in It is wide screen - yuk, and everything is so tiny and different. The adds at the top of the screen are about 13 1/2 cms wide This photo is about 12 1/2 cm wide - is this the same as what everyone else is seeing?

Thanks everyone. Such a small world - I had not met toofarnoth before I took photos for her, but as it turns out we have a few friends in common, what a small world .

There is quite a bit on the subject in Karen Pryor's book reaching the animal mind, might be worth getting a copy -
Do Your Dogs Seem To Know Their Relatives?
helen replied to Vickie's topic in General Dog Discussion
My dogs think any other Brittany is great, no difference if they are relatd or not, and Welsh Springer Spaniels are just as good to them as a Brittany LOL -
Had fun taking some photos for toofarnorth recently, Georgie the gorgeous 14 year old Dachie and Billy the Cocker Spaniel who is just a younster - these are my favorites
-
fantastic photos, I do love the one with the Dali chasing the Lab
-
What a great bunch, that is him on the left is it?

When Bella had her last litter she was 7 when mated, 8 when the pups were born. I did go in to it carefully though speaking to other breeders, and she had a thorough vet check beforehand with my vets who are very experienced in repo matters. She was also very fit from doing agility etc, wouldn't do it with all dogs though - this is a dog who still loves to go out walking all day at 10.
