Yes, we had a happy ending yesterday, a lucky young girl is getting Mikey as her 12th birthday present (with lots of help and support from Mum and Dad of course). And at his 'original' price too. Good news. And I am sure on e happy 12 yo.

Cool... I would just like to see a bit more weight on Wednesday... but Lola is less attentive and isn't that interested in feeding them.... she is feeding them obviously because they're putting on weight. They're also interested in licking and nomming on things, so thought it might've been an experience for them ETA: I think I just need to stop overanalysing things. Weight gain is much slower as they get older and mum does not have to feed them as much as they get more in less time.

I have paid upfront and have paid when sold first pup. As Dellcara states often you do not have the spare wherewithall upfront. I would definetly have coughed up by 11 weeks. Only one more week for cheap registration. :rofl:

A regulation that I don't agree with. Not everyone can afford a stud fee straight up ... and who wants to hand over a form without payment ?? I have a "friend" who has a written contract that has a clause in it ... "I .... acknowledge that the signed stud form has been handed to me the owner of the bitch. I have handed to form back to .... to hold until final payment is made". Thats an interesting one.

All they need until 4 weeks is mothers milk. As there is only two they can get all they want.

Well done to edgesmum who Neuter titled her girl at Pt. Pirie. I had actually met her at the Canberra Royal. But it was not till Monday when we were chatting about neuters in show and this thread that we twigged. :D :D BBJ and I are on to next campaign with Ruby Rose the girl in my Avatar. Just have to get her desexed and in show condition. At least the pressure is not on as she is only 8. Due to her age its not worth trying for her other points and besides its too hard with a whole colour.
