Well Cleo pulled the pin on eating this morning I had to stand and supervise so it was not stolen. :D Must be feeling it now.

NSW Gazette not one until Feb. :( :( Yeah, I was a bit sad about that too! Oh well, there's a fair few between now and then though. I just feel bad for the Victorians who don't have any! TerraNik I did not think there was in in NSW until just before Christmas?? :( We have to get 64 points in before Wil succumbs. Mind you the way she races around she is like a puppy. There's a few in the Sydney area before XMAS, these are the ones I have entered: SUN 14th Nov - Campbelltown SAT - 27th NOV Hills District SUN - 5th DEC - Ladies KC SAT 18th DEC - DOGS NSW There were 3 shows at Hillsborough - 15-17 October. As well as those listed by GW there's also... 3 shows at Hillsborough this weekend (Fri/Sat). In ACT there's 3 shows on 20-21 November. There's also 3 at Walcha on 10-12 December. :D 14hr 57 min drive to Walcha. We tossed up the Canberra ones but the local won out for the other dogs. BBJ also has handling commitments. Edited for clarity.

I find it extraordinary that a vet would say an infection would cause deafness. Funny think is the placenta protects things from getting to the pups in most cases. Deafness is usually due to a failure in the nerves conduction sound to the brain and it genetic.

I am getting a bit excited now :nahnah: love having puppies until mum pulls the pin on cleaning up the poo.

I saw a dog in Google that is not in Aus. Can not remember the name from Belgium, France, Switzerland maybe small cav sized and it was gorgeous. Hair rather like a griffon. I will have to search.

Ummmmmmmmmmmmm its a puppy. What breed???

I think it really does depend upon breed and colour. The puppy might well be healthy in the nest but that doesn't mean to say it will stay that way. And I'd rather take a gamble and cull a puppy than end up with the next Greyshaft on my doorstep. That would really just be my luck! ellz I was thinking more of my breed cavs. A common problem is clown face in a blenheim, that is no red around the eyes, or no blaze in a tri colour or too much white on a black and tan or ruby.

The Bitza test can give some indication. But if both parents DNA profiled then the offspring can have a result.

Interesting the colour mismatch in the panda shep. The bottom one is a very heavily biscuited white shep.

Well I was getting worried about my lassie as I could not feel anything. I spoke to the owner of the sire and suggested I should do an ultrasound. She said to bring her over today to be checked. But felt this morning and we have lumps. Miss Cleo really took it out to the wire. :D

Vic has a very good indoor facility. I would say that NSW would have the most on any weekend.
