Lizzy had 5 puppies this morning. 1 black boy, 2 fawn boys and 2 fawn girls. All natural delivery - thank god. She is resting now and feeding her babies.

Congrats HilaryO and Macy, looking forward to seeing lots of photos. Beagle babies are very cute.

Lizzy was unsettled last night and is off her food today, looking for dark hiding spots and nesting. So looks like she may have hers by tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest.

I thought someone would say that, I need to update my siggy. I tried to do it a while ago but stuffed it up, will ask someone to do it for me when I have some little puggies to add to it. I am going for 6 too, will have to wait a bit longer to see what she has. Just hoping that every thing goes well. She was 7.2kgs at mating and is now 9.4kgs. Lots of movement tonight, love feeling them move. Must admit I am finally getting excited now.

It's hard to tell with them, some girls can hide them very well while others are all out there. Fluffy coats makes it harder to tell. Risyntira - I would have thought 5 or 6 for your girl, I was suprised when your came back on saying 7. magicmine - I will say 3 - 4 as well. Any guesses for how many Lizzy may have? 1st litter - 3 matings. Due on the 19th. Photo above. *be kind* eta: she is from a litter of only 3 so we expected the same from her. This has been a bit of a shock - didn't think such a little girl could get so big. Poor bugger looks at food like I am trying to punish her now.

Just took this one of Lizzy a few minutes ago. She looks lots bigger than she did this morning. I don't think she will last another 8 days but I sure hope she does. Risyntira - you puppies are beautiful, congratulations.

She looks bigger in the flesh. What a round little belly. How many is Lizzy expecting Andisa? only 4 - but I have a feeling there will be a couple of extras.

We are on the count down for Lizzy - 8 days to go, think she is over it already the poor little love.

I have the liberty ultra force - its good with big hairy dogs in warm weather -it's loud - waiting for it to warm up in winter was the reason I lashed out and got the CM2H from Melbourne Dog Center - I love it - not cheap but is fantastic. Well I couldn't wait any longer - had Lizzy scanned today at Monash and Ray saw at least 4 pups. Hilaryo - great scans - congrats.....

Quietly confident that Lizzy is going to have babies this time - not game to allow myself more than this right now. 3 weeks tomorrow......I think I can feel something - or maybe it's just wishful thinking - again Still waiting.......waitiing.........waiting.............she likes keeping secrets....

Lizzy had a mating yesterday and is having another one tomorrow, so if all goes better than last time then hoping for Pug babies November 19.. (wasn't going to post until I had photos as proof this time - but couldn't help myself very exciting)
