OK - belly shots of Teagan
-
I think it depends on how well you know/trust the owner of the stud dog or the bitch your boy is going over. We have always done at the sale of first pup...... so I would probably be jumping up and down a bit........

SLICK SURFACES ALONG WITH LACK OF EXERCISE AND NUTRITIONAL MONITORING, WILL CONTRIBUTE TO "BOWING IN" AND "KNUCKLING OVER" ON YOUR PUPPIE'S FRONT END ASSEMBLY. Our pups are raised on scoria stones, concrete and grass. They are 'self' exercised so we felt the main contributing factor with our boy would have been food. He is the only one we have had from 9 litters but to be on the safe side once they are about 8 weeks old we start to mix the adult and puppy food.
-
We always take Mum in with the pups - she would much rather be able to keep them in her sight than have them 'disappear'.
-
Ditto - I now bring my pups up on 1/2 adult and 1/2 puppy as I had one starting to knuckle over. Beautiful and straight now..

Well done to all the wee bubs so far, and really sorry for the littlies that didn't make it. A couple of weeks to go still for us and she is getting verrrry big!! Will take some photos when I can....

I used to only go to on-lead arears to walk my boy becuase although he was reasonably obedient he wasn't overly loose dog friendly. It wasn't so much the loose dog that bothered me but it cerainly bothered Merlin!! I used to get soooo pi..ed off with people yelling at me 'It's OK' my dogs fine' while it was running at mine - I used to yell back at them - Well mine's not!!! all the time trying to get Merlin behind me so he didn't start anything. It meant that I no longer walked Merlin through parks because I felt that it just wasn't safe - I used to get sooo mad that people couldn't take their off lead dog to an off lead park and let me walk my dog in peace!!!

Please tell me this looks like a preggie belly!!

Don't know now!!! The vets wanted another scan for the new young vet and our favourite was going to do it with her, Unfortunately He was called out for an emergency so the new young girl did the scan - she told us to come back 28 days after the last mating!!! She's well passed that! Now OH says he couldn't see anything!!! Is there a wrong way of doing the scan so it doesn't show anything/ Please say yes!!! Will try and get another one done by Scott - if there's nothing there...........well............ not much we can do................ other than see if we can still enter the Easter shows! Keep your fingers crossed though..........
-
Oh I'm sorry to hear that, after the effort that went into it! Maybe next time will be better........
-
We're an impatient lot aren't we!! Good luck for tomorrow!
-
I agree!! Nothing pisses me off more than taking my dog to an ON LEAD park because he doesn't like loose dogs rushing up to him and WAMMO all the dogs are LOOSE. I tend to rant at the owners too. If they want to let their dogs off lead then go to an off lead park!!! :p
-
Ummmm OH got a bit carried away!! She is probably only about 22 days!! It's not as if we haven't had a litter before! :p
-
A GOOOOOORGEOUS Rebus boy!!
-
Well Teagan was scanned today - a bit early but the only time OH could get her in with the nice vet, he just lets them stand up and scans them .......................and.................................. ................................. he said probably from the last few matings ...........he could see probably 6 little marbles!!!
-
Fingers crossed for you!! We will be getting Teagan scanned next week - mind you the size of her 'pot' would suggest that she is definitley 'cooking'!!
