  1. I'm in awe of what you have all accomplished in the last 48 hours, a credit to our wonderful community :-)) fifi xxx
  2. let me refresh your memory.......then f you, loser, nothing else to do, jesus christ, yeah its not very smart but no need to make a thread about it bitching and complaining. Grow up! sound familiar ?? not being nasty ?? coffee splurk !!! fifi
  3. whoah, for someone who actually came into a friendy thread in an area they were trying to block, and proceeded to violate forum rules & treat people with contempt....you are sadly lacking any reasoning ! fifi
  4. Lordy I enjoyed reporting that post !!! Just shows that reaching 150 posts doth not a nice person make !! fifi
  5. Well nightgrace, now that you've ventured into OT and treated a lovely DOL'er like shite, what a good idea for you to make sure you can't see or post there. fifi
  6. Just adding my gratitude to Julie, Jaxx and the whole team of helpers And for Julie & Jaxx.....much deserved...... :D fifi
  7. Sometimes it can be a fine line for puppy people to walk, too patient and passive and the breeder may think they aren't keen or don't know the breed, too proactive and specific and you risk being pushy and seen as a know it all !! I know in my early days of looking for a breeder I was worried about being either of those and tried to walk the middle ground. Its not easy dealing with pushy enquiries, but sometimes a person just knows how much they really want a pup from a particular breeder and do more than everything to get there !!! fifi
  8. Try your local vets, they may sell you some and there are a few products, that are parvocides, such as the F10, Virkon and Trigene. fifi
  9. Sending good thoughts to Ollie dog from over the range. fifi & hounds xxx
  10. Massive well done to Julie and team, I can guess Julie has been on the phone & computer for the last 48 hours non stop. Great work to all those on location :-) Vic, we are thinking of you here too. fifi xxx
  11. What a wonderful win, and that picture is priceless :-) So lovely to see such a deserved win and amazing emotion from the hander :-)) fifi
  12. Thank you for the update SL, Ollie is one tough old cookie !!! Big hugs to you both :-)) fifi xxx
  13. We get it constantly, especially at Ag shows !! "he'd be great over my bullarabXdaneXbullmastiffXridigie bitch !!!! One tip for people who have been approached, and especially if the person's were very determined or a bit 'suss', don't go directly home, do another errand, take a detour ect. so hopefully if they are following you, they will lose interest. These kind of people are quite likely to 'help themselves' to your dog if they are devious enough. And don't have your dogs visible in the front yard, have them behind locked gates in the back yard. and preferably gates & fences that cannot be seen through. fifi
  14. Been thinking of you both - hoping for a good news update when you get home. Big hugs to Ollie dog and yourself :-) fifi xxx
  15. Will be thinking of you both tonight J & Ollie :-) fifi xxxx
  16. We thought of that but because there are so many of them we just dont have the kind of funds that will take - looking at about $3000 a week  :D Okaaaaay......sounds like transport and kind fosters are the go then ! fifi
  17. Can some of the money dontated get the dogs into boarding kennels straight away until a foster can be found ? I'd be happy to donate a decent amount towards their ongoing board on payday next week. fifi
  18. Thank you so much Julie for getting this rolling, donation done. today is even more difficult for Vic, it is her Mum Michele's birthday :-(( fifi edited to change wording
  19. Thinking of you SL & Ollie dog. Lismore or Casino would have an after hours vet, I'd be ringing now. fifi xxxxx
  20. So true. :D My heart breaks for you. Sorry, I just found this thread, and Helen & Trish have spoken my thoughts already. Hugs to your family, each day will take a layer of the pain away, perhaps do something special as a family to remember your dogs - a tree planting or special outing, maybe buying some plaques or lovely garden statue. fifi
  21. I am sorry about your litter plans too IL :-( do keep an eye on her though, wouldn't be the first wolfhound to have one unoticed puppy up high & surprise their breeder !!! fifi
  22. :D Oh Trish, I'm so disappointed for you dog breeding has so many highs & lows. Even when you try not too, you get so hopeful when changes appear in your girls, and that makes it more shattering if the news is bad :D Huge hugs, fifi xxxx
  23. Just home from Sydney, any news Trish ? fifi xx
  24. Julz I'm so very sad for you all, we too know the utter devestation of losing a young one suddenly. all our thoughts are with you and your family. take one day at a time, each day the pain eases just a tiny bit - and be prepared for bad days too, let the tears out when you need too. fifi, danny & hounds xxx
  25. Love it ! the story and the sculpture :-) thank you for sharing Willow. fifi
