Helen, I love it Not sure where the frog came from, but he seemd to be stranded in the dogs water bowl, the dogs werent worried about him at all but a lovely crazy frog lady DOLer came and relocated him for me as I wasn't going to touch the slimey little critter, as much as I like frogs I don't wanna touch them. Nice shots Rav! Huga, what exactly is a gyrocar? It looks totally awesome! Is it battery powered or something? Is that Mr Huga with your little fella, they both look like they are having a ball!!

I'm thinking of specialising in General Practice or Emergency Medicine. Something with variety I really admire your dedication!!

What sort of training does a dog have to already have to attend one of these clinics? Also does the dog have the be of the working variety? And lastly where do you think the clinic will take place?

I have to say, when I saw the question I thought "oh god, I'll hear that now in addition to the rest of the excuses". He's a rescue, so he can't sit He's a spitz, so he can't sit He's learning disabled, so he can't sit. Yeesh. Agree with PF that the greatest handicap most dogs have is their handler, and I include mine in that assessment :D That is so true, Im sure other instructors will also agree. People come to obedience all the time and they say he won't, he won't he won't and one of the instructor takes the dog for a few minutes to do a demo and the dog is perfectly capable fo doing all those "he won'ts"

What was it you were trying to teach her? any chance she is deaf? My youngest has certainly been a challenge to train, he is eager to please but extremely impatient, I kind of liken it to a child who is desperate for a lolly and just can't contain himself. Is he dumb, I don't think so sometimes in other ways he is more clever than the smartest one There is so many variables, I think with my boy he has such a different personality than the other 3. The last part of your post PF you described Bronson, he is so busy knowing he will get a treat that the thing he is supposed to be learning just doesnt sink in, he is focused on the food. I have tried a few other methods that have worked, and he is generally well behaved to a point that I am happy with now. We go to training and he is a model student at home not always, its like he has to show off. :D

Well this is bizarre, I think if you go to custom dog tags and browse the ones people have already made (see Tully on that page) you can actually add your own details and have that persons tag as your own?

Nice to hear from you CB good to hear you and your lot are well. Glad to hear the doggies are good apart from leles eye. Any pups planned for this year? Don't make it so long between visits.

Well we went for our walk, well not really a walk, just a stand at Harris street all got wet then home again. I faired ok but was needing a lie down by the time I got home! At least the doglets got a run, they sure did need it!! We caught up with RJ and Riley which was good too. Lucky Sean got the lawn mowed yesterday cause its a little wet today to do it. :D

Has anyone seen this site? and if so have they ordered anything from it. I just ordered a tag for Tully, and next pay day I will get one for Lacy. Special togs for thier delta visits. https://www.dogtagart.com/ heres the one I created for Tully and on the back I just put her Name, my Ph number and under that Delta therapy dog. Cant wait till it comes. The tag with postage and a swivel clip was $17 and so many cents (cant remember now)

Sorry guys, scones nearly all gone and I certainly wasnt getting out of my nightie for visitors Not sure how a white car is going to be any cleaner than a black car down your driveway! Sean always says white cars don't look as dirty and are easier to clean, not sure I agree! Dirt is dirt! Sean is out mowing, ground seems to have dried up due to the humidity. I'm back in bed now under the air con!
