  1. Nice shot Rav, love the tounge!
  2. not sure about facebook, I just use photobucket, its fairly easy.
  3. You can join for sure, the more the merrier. I started my first week at the 1st which was Saturday I think some are starting the week beginning today 3rd.
  4. Thanks Lizzy, I think he is pretty dam awesome too and he sure has a HUGE fan base. A while ago now when he was younger he had a very bad experience at a groomers and he had a hard time dealing with men of any sort (apart from my OH and males he knew very well) so I have worked with him and tried lots of different techniques for him to be able to deal with males and with the help of a few different methods he is now cured, well I think he is. There has been probly 12 months go by where we have not had one episode so I think that is a good indication that he is rehabilitated. What he used to do was where ever we were if he seen a male he didn't know he would bark and carry on and run around and around the person as if trying to keep them at bay so they couldnt touch him or the rest of us. If the person tried to calm him down or pat him he just go worse. One of the biggest things for Cooper to be better was for me to be more assertive and help him feel more protected so he didn't have to do the protecting. Cooper is the kind of dog that has to be treated with kid gloves as far as if you use to much of a forceful method on him it really breaks him, so I have had to really work out what is the best way to combat the problems he had. Anyway it sounds involved but it really isn't just a problem to over come and we have. He really is a gorgeous boy and a great dog to be around, he loves other dogs and people and is a good all rounder apart from if you leave him in the car and get out at someones house to have a chat. As RJ will tell you, he has to be in amongst it. :D and is very painful if he is not part of the action! Will look forward to catching up with you again Lizzy.
  5. Its no big deal really just a few of us from our obedience school are taking our dogs the ones that are bomb proof and we are doing a little kind of promo thing for the school and doing a few tricks for the customers on a very informal basis, if people want to pat the dogs ask questions about the dog school then thats what we are hoping for. As you probly know Bunnings are very community minded and like to be involved in community events as much as possible. Over summer they have some kind of activity or event at the store every weekend. The events coordinator just asked me if we would like to bring the dogs in and we thought it would be a great idea and promote doggy awareness on all sorts of levels. It will be a great test for my big boy, I have been working very hard on his rehab and if he passes the test this weekend I will consider him cured. mind you I don't think there will be any problem what so ever or I wouldn't consider taking him, but will be watching him like a hawk. We have two girls coming to talk to people so the handlers can concerntrate on the dogs and make sure they are doing the right thing. I am looking forward to it, it will be good to have yet another dog day they are my favorite thing to do in the whiole world! :D
  6. Nice shot Helen, we will have a similar challenge this year. Bronson is not as compliant as Cooper when it comes to taking photos. I was going to do Lacy as she is a great model but I thought I would give myself more of a challenge! FD, I just commented on your flickr, Paris looks like a hollywood model in this shot, her coat is just divine!! I am going to love seeing her pics this year.
  7. Hi Tez, not sure about Nike, I think Trish had to take her in? We can definatley do a walk afterwards and anyone else that wants to join us can do. Im sure Shannon will be up for a walk too. So we kick off at Bunnings at 11 I will be there about 10.45. Trish is goign to bring her new pup, she said he is a bit full on but he will be fine, he is 7 months old. I am going to take Cooper for a little run first so he leaves all his energy at the park. I hope the weather is going to be ok. So if we said 1ish for the walk, that gives us time to get out of Bunnings have some lunch and meet up at the park. After Lacy and I did our Delta duties we went to Seans mums for lunch then we went to Harris street for something different and stayed away from the back stalls so the dogs didnt chase the bunnies! It was good down there, the grass is so nice and green and pretty short, we didn't go in the cage only to get a drink so they had a good run. they are all outside snoozing now!
  8. Nice happy shot! DA, those elephants are just beautiful!! LL, pretty flowers love the colors. Great shots everyone!
  9. Sometimes I take two and do a bit with each one. When they were younger and in different classes it was good as I just did each class. My training school doesn't mind as I am a volunteer trainier so I have to fit training my dogs in with classes.
  10. Ravs right and it is as easy as it sounds. Some will do fabulous outstanding shots every week, I am just happy if I keep up with the challenge and if I get a good shot occasionally then thats great.
  11. Awww love Maggie! Lottie looks like she is laughing at the world, great shot!
  12. Oh I didn't realize the others were playing too.
  13. Hey JJ can you hear Jimmy? I just went outside and it is loud and clear, probably be even clearer at your place!
  14. You look so sad and scared in that shot, it made me feel like I wanted to give you a hug.
  15. Ah Jess, to have an acre would be so awesome, Id have agility and fly ball set up permanantly. Who knows what might happen down the track!!
  16. Well the plants were there first so we left them there, and they have served as a comfy bed for puppies and also good shade in other area of the garden. They are hardly ever inthe dog run, Coop goes in there occasionally and has a little sit in the garden. The cat uses is more than the dog, she loves the kennel. I have never even locked the dogs in there, never had a reason to so far. They do have one little diggy spot but they only dig the dirt there if they are hot and wanna get cool, its under the tree right down near the back fence. I must say they are very good in the yard and are certainly not destructive dogs by any stretch, and mostly just sit on the back veranda when they are outside. They did use it a bit more when they were pups especially when it was only Cooper and Lacy. Id quite often look out the window and Cooper would be doing zoomies on his own around the back yard. Maybe it would be different if I didn't take then out as often who knows, I'm lucky to have good doggies!!
  17. I haven't seen that particular one but I will say panasonics are very good, beofre I had my slr I had the pana lumix fz20 then the fz 50 and also a little pana point and shoot. They all took great shots, the lenses on thier cameras are awesome. I still have my fz 50 which I use a lot at the beach etc and it hasn't missed a beat.
  18. A couple of pics our back yard from the back pergola from in the dog run Cooper is hiding in this one Lacy and Holly in the kennel on the back veranda
  19. day 2 In the Kennel is my old girl Holly, she is 19 so I am hoping to take a few of her for this project, she is still fit as a fiddle but doesn't do a lot these days but lay around.
  20. Poor you!! I can really see Jess in the ring, I reckon she would love it. So when will she start? The next W'bool show is not far away? Well I got my bits and pieces done and went outside to take a few shots, Im doing project 365 this year so a photo a day, not sure if I am up to the challenge but I am going to give it a shot, somedays, probly most days will be just snapshots but thats ok by me. I got a few shots of the back yard and it is looking noice at the moment.
  21. 300 pages, yay us!!!! Had a great walk this morning, JJ your little Jess is a champ, she is going to make a great Jr Handler for sure. Your kids are really great, I just realized that through the whole walk not one complaint from one kid. That's awesome!! Usually there might be one " I'm hungry, I wanna go to the toilet, I need a drink, I'm too hot, I'm too cold" your kids are a credit to you and Chan! Hope you had a nice lunch Tanya, did you take Bruno with you too? It's warmed up out there now. Hey Tenties, why not just nick into Bunnings and swap your GB? Is it cheaper to just get them refilled?
  22. Ok I will attempt to get there, starting at the breakwater yea?
  23. Have a listen to the song 3 wise men, James Blunt thinks it is so that's good enough for me Ok keep me posted re the walk!
