Shell is there a dogzonline group for 2011 on flickr to add to like last year or will we keep adding to last years? or not have one at all and just add pics to our own flickr albums and here??

Thats great he alwasy looks gorgeous so you do a great job, I find with each clip I get better and better. Especially with doing all mine thats a lot of clipping. I have a soft spot for Barkley he is so like my childhood cocker.

No probs guys, I will check in here intermittently tomorow and we will take it from there! Sounds like you will be saving heaps by doing it yourself. We did a bit of stuff ourselves here, stump holes wall batts and a few other minor things but it all saved $$ we could have saved over 10K had we have wanted to paint and I said NO freaking way the painters can have that all to themselves! There would have been certain divorce if we had of painted as Sean is a total perfectionist when it comes to things like that and we still would not have been living int he house now 7 years later as it would not be finished due to his panickityness....

RJ surely you are due a day off from house building?? Maws is in Melb so she is a no go! JJ would you prefer morning or arvo? Im easy I have all day especially since I don't have a huge amount to do only some washing to fold due to my wonderful Husband being on holidays and holding the fort, housework and all. What a gem!!

Poor Kenobi, it's hard to know what to do to help them when they are itchy. One of my girls used to get itchy not excessive a bit of scratching and biting bit no skin off or redness etc, the vet thought it was the grass but since I have had her on a dry (black hawk) diet with only bones (chicken, lamb and beef) the ithching has subsided and now she hardly itches at all. So I am thinking maybe it was the food, she was previously eating meat, veg, rice and a cheaper bicky (supercoat) The change seemed to occur once she went onto a premium dry food. By the way I think it is about time we seen som enew pics of the lttle dude! Maybe you have posted some and I have missed them. Did the vet recommend anything for relief apart from the fish oil? I'm sure Steve will have some good advice for you re the itch. Oh just has a thought, our old dog had an allergy to fleas and even one flea drove him crazy and the base of his tail was the worst area. I know it sounds wierd dogs having an allergy to fleas of course they have the fleas bite the dog scratches but they can have an actual allergy to the flea. Our boy had to have a course of steroids to knock it on the head and we had to be extremely vigilant about keeping up with the flea treatment.

Thats funny I have lived in this area most of my life and I have never been to Fagstaff hill either. I would love to go one day just to take photos. We got for a walk but it wasn't till later on, too late for Tanya so we didn't catch up. RJ, your job sounds like a bitch, does it save you $ not to have the sec company do it?? Whats everyone up to tomorrow? I can't believe I have 3 days off now!

Happens here a lot. I taught my girl Tully to beg and to reinforce for a little while every time she got a treat she begged, after day 2 I went to get Lacy to sit and shake hands for her treat after Tully and she just sat p and begged. It was very cute no teaching neccessary. My youngest just wants to copy the older 3 no matter what they do and does all the time, he is desperate to please and has to copy in a hurry.

DId he fall out of the back of the ute?? Did you have him tethered with a chocker?? What sort of pup is he? Maybe he would be better off in the front till he is a bit older. Being an excited puppy in the back of the ute to me is a recipie for disaster. Just wanted to add to if he was scared and frightened and you picked him up and cuddled him, you are actually reinforcing his fears. In a situation like that you are better to brush it off and go about your business.

Yes well I am happy to say I faired very well considering I hate the heat with a passion, the air con did help! Its nice out now, I should take the dogs for a run but they all seem exhausted and have just had a big tea of left overs the last of the xmas pork. they were pretty happy with that. Sorry Tenties, the TOB stays with me :D and I just can't be bothered to go any where, gee thats showing my age!

Arghhhh no power I would die. Work wasn't so bad, I think because I started at 7 before it got too hot but by gee it was hot when I left at one! But I was a bit excited when I got home as my boss rang me to see if I could help him out with giving someone else extra hours and what that means for me is a day off YAY!!! :D So now I don't have to work Sunday!! I decided to bath the doglets this arvo, well 3 of them any way, and they got to drip dry outside on the pergola, only took about 10 mins and they were all dry, they look so funny not bow dried, they go all curly especially Lacy as she hasn't been clipped yet. They are all inside now sleeping all except Tully who has her head in the toy bo fishing for toys. SHe has one ball on a rope and she will not rest till it is totally destroyed. And me well I am mucking around on the computer and eating a huge big toblerone. 4 bits and I have had enough!

Well I'm about as energetic as you guys, I am home from work (THANK GOD!!!) it was so hot out there although better doing a morning shift than an afternoon! Had 3 NYE invites but decided to stay home with the air con. Jess your guys are lucky getting in an early morning run, I had to be work at 7 so mine missed out and way too hot to take them now. My oldest one detests the heat the other 3 are not too bad!

Will do Tanya although it will be spur of the moment for me over the next few days as I have to work Fri Sat and Sun, worst luck, not looking forward to the big green hot box tomorow at least Im an early start so its not so bad, Probly wont walk the dogs tomorow anyhow if the forcast is right 40 is way tooooo hot for me!! Have you got holidays now or back to work soon? Tez do you get any hols?

Hi Tez, so glad it all worked out great, I t must have been nerve racking for you with your parents meeting your "new Friend" for the first time. Im also sure he will in time grow to love Jane, how could you not love a face like hers. I bet he warmed to Gus immediatley?!! Are you still go to go for next weekend Sun 9th at Bunnings 11am? who did you decide to bring? I am getting ready and organizing some flyers for the day. Trish may come with a new pup, same breeder as Nova so pup will be havanese just dark in color. Sad news is Nana Nike went to doggy heaven just before Christmas so it will be strange not to see her around at dog school.
