This is about to start. Well where I am anyway!

Do you mean photos that are already on the iPad? If you do then you can use the photobucket app, upload the photos to photobucket then copy and paste the link to the photo you want into the forum (etc) that you want it in. You can download the photobucket app from the apps store.

tweaked this one slightly Hoping over the weekend I can get a few scenery shots out and about weather permitting.

A few happy snaps from the new camera I picked it up Tuesday night and I think it will do me well till I get the 7D and then will make a nice accompniment (sp) to my 7D The weather is ordinary here and crappy light but i was happy with how they turned out, strait off the camera, a few inside ones too. inside no flash Inside flash inside flash inside no flash Outside Kitty on the move

Thanks for the input Tess, I really appreciate it. It may be a cheaper option depending on the financials at the time of purchase.

I agree with EI I think that's an unair comment to make, also unfair to make it in this thread. Just for the record I feed BH and mine do well on it but I have never bagged other foods and believe me I have tried a lot. Not all foods suit all dogs!

I've downloaded 7d for dummies, 7d from snap shots to great shots and 7d digital field guide, so I have some reading to do. I got a couple of sample books from Amazon as well canon 7d experience and best of 7d tips and tutorials. So they should keep me going for a while!

Oohhh that sounds a bit flashy! Hey yesterday when I had my hot little hands the 7D all I could think of was what someone wrote on here (I'm pretty sure it might have been you) ahhh what a magnificent beast! was it you?
-
That one looks good too, I noticed the 70 - 200 is an L lens and the one you linked to isn't. Is there something different about L lenses? I'm such a canon numpty! i will however look the part when my new coffee mug comes in the post. you enabler you!

Love the 3 amigos all together!

Love him, he is gorgeous! He has grown so much in such a short time..... I've missed seeding your photos! I see lotus had a blue steel face on for these pics. Edited for stupid auto correct!

Oh I meant to add, I've only snapped a couple of inside shots today, the weather been crappy and I have been busy moving 3 of my bedrooms around. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day and il have a good crack!

The Guy at HN rang me today with the price of the non IS version and it was just under $1000 with the IS version being $1199 so if I can I might get the IS version. He also said to me he thinks the 7D will come down a bit more in price in the next couple of months! good for me. M&Dm with your 70 - 200 can you fit a filter right on or do you need an adapter? It's a 67mm yea?

I would have thought the positive feedback in this thread and the amount of people feeding BH who are happy with it would by far outweigh the negatives. Not everyone can like everything! I know quite a few people in real life who feed BH most with multiple dogs and not one have had any issues or have been unhappy with the product. Our local stockist who me and a friend pushed/begged  to stock BH has said the popularity and feedback has been tremendous and she is wrapped in the response from people.

KA, lovely shots of Kuma, in particular I love the paw shot and throw the treat shot, he looks like such a happy chap! Snook, J man looks so sad in that shot! Like he's lost his best buddy, but I know the face, I got it from Cooper all the time!

Bunnings have them, they are typically a lot cheaper than pet shops that sell them. If yu have a sliding door, the pig in mud doors are excellent and easy to install. HERE is an old thread about them.

RIP sweet Jamie, I do remember when you lost Texas, aweful to lose two so close together! Poor Chester, hope he is feeling much better soon! Big For him! New puppy and 6 months old, how exciting, any pics? You kept that quiet. look forward to seeing Saxon!

CM haven't seen you about latley, how's all your crew going? I miss seeing their photos in the 52 weeks. Hope your all well.

I'm really appreciating all the feedback in this thread! Thanks so much. I went into HN tonight to pick up my G1X it is awesome! I'm in love with it already  I'll have a crack at some pics tomorrow and post a couple here, hope the sun is shining! I finally got to hold the 7D wow. I can't wait till I can get mine! The body only price in the shop said just over $1700 but when I asked them the price he said it wasn't right and looked it up and said it is just over $1300, I'm happy with that, the 50m 1.8 is only $149 and he was looking into the price of the 70 - 200 as all they had on their system was the IS one and it was $1199 which I thought wasnt bad so I'm hoping the non IS one is lots cheaper! M&Dm your right about probly not needing the IS, I mainly only plan to use the 70 - 200 outside in good light so I think it will be all good, a lot of the forums say for action if they have IS they turn it off anyway! HN also gave me a $70 discount off my G1X

No worries, I'll definatley have a look too!
-
I joined the other day and so far haven't posted anything. but I did find an awesome thread with pics from the G1X so I am trawling through that at the moment! My brain is swirling from all the hunting and studying I have been doing latley. I love Dpreview and have only started one thread in there and got good responses, I think most of the members there are American. 7D Facebook page is here, well one of them, there is a few but this one seems good.

Photo finish This show looks like it might be worth a look. My Mum read about it in the paper and told me about it. Has anyone else heard anything about it?
