  1. Love the vids Amy! I saw your jumping round in person but missed your agility one, so was great to see it!! OMG, look at Buddy!! He looked like a windup toy that was going off at the start line Such speed and accuracy, very impressed!!!
  2. How come?? Surely they weren't turning away all new enrolments tonight for this term? Missing 2 weeks is better than missing another 10-12 weeks before you can start. And why would you miss 2 weeks? I know there is a public holiday next week, but I don't understand how 2 weeks would be missed
  3. That's one of the instructors isn't it? She has a red merle little girl, and she is SUCH a beauty I can't help but stare at her, she's adorable!! Oh my I want one right now!!
  4. Yup, saw her red and blue merle! No fair, she has one of each colour I want!
  5. Maybe by the time I'm ready for one you'll be ready for one and we could end up with littermates
  6. I think she's missing puppy breathe, will just have to get Aussie puppy breathe . Yep, we all need a new showdog (hope Jenna can read this). No pressure or anything Jenna That's ok Mason's mum Jenna's response to preasure is to go in to clown mode. Maybe why she jumped the lounge suite just before giving birth to a belly full of puppies last time. This is the girl I would have liked to have kept from her last litter. Brooklyn is the daddy. She is quiet happy where she is though and her human parents love her to bits, she gets to go to the beach and camping quiet often and ride in the new boat. Spitting image of her daddy or what!
  7. I could always ask J if you can do a NFC Novice jumping round with Abbey ;) Although she may be preggers then... Not sure she would say yes Mirawee, no offence intended Rubystar but even with Jenna there are very few people I would let handle her over a course, not that many would want to of course being the little nutter she is. But I can't really speak for her so who knows. No offence taken, totally know where you're coming from! Don't worry guys, I was only half serious I still have a fair way to go before I am ready to enter the ring, let alone my dog, and I can't wait to run with Ruby so will hold out til then!! And no, it won't be this June :p ;)
  8. I could always ask J if you can do a NFC Novice jumping round with Abbey Although she may be preggers then... But I understand the liklihood of others wanting someone else to handle their dog, especially a newbie handler, are slim
  9. Just the next agility trial after the Nationals, unless you wanna head country!
  10. ;) Bad influence!! The idea was fun, but the reality is a big fat NO WAY! :D Ask me again in June 2011 and I'll see how brave and ready I am feeling then Unless there is anyone out there with a semi-experienced agility dog who doesn't mind a newbie handler giving their dog a shot :D
  11. Well that is really good news!! I love retrieving, damn you retrieving for not being possible for me :D Awesome photos, Winpara!!! I keep wondering if anybody will take nice ones at obedience, it's always at agility where the "action" is Looks like I may have to work hard in agility training so one day my girl can have gorgeous photos taken
  12. Cheers Ptolomy :D MM - You need to find a job that lets you browse DOL at the same time...
  13. Am I blind or is there a section on the site that specifies the sizing? I don't know what size would be good for the Labs! I reckon whatever size you got for Scoota might be ok for mine?
  14. Thanks for the link, I may just order the girls one and see how they go There I go, spending more $$ on the dogs when my own personal wishlist gets bigger and bigger :D Mums always put their kids first, I know
  15. I've got polished jarrah floorboards and so far my dogs haven't done any damage. I was stressing they would, but a few months on and still nothing. But I don't let them play or run inside, so the most they might do that might scratch the floors is when they stretch, I hear the nails scrape a bit then :D I love floorboards and my dogs by choice are inside dogs while I am home, so I am willing to risk my floors to have the floors I want and the company of my dogs! If you're the same, just keep the dogs nails short and be strict on what they get up to inside
  16. Ignore my previous post, I obviously didn't read far enough :D Are Trick and Finn from Maggie's litter? The same litter that Jillie is from? Jillie was so cute the other night, she was just in a daze and as I'm walking up, her gaze fixates on me and then her eyes lit up as if to say "oh boy!! I know you! And you're coming to pat me!" Gotta love Labs :D ETA: Way to go Trick!!!
  17. Post the goss when you get it!! What Labs were entered and from what litter? VCBR, yes it looks VERY involved, even for Novice! And to get a NRD title you not only have to pass but WIN I think! Would so love to do it one day but for me to find the time I would have to give up obedience and agility and there is no way I am parting ways with obedience
  18. Ness, I can't see where Kenzie failed Open Jumping :D It looked like a few refusals, but the judge didn't appear to call them as such, so I can't see why she didn't pass that. Then again, I'm an agility noob so no idea!!
  19. I've thought about getting my girls a cool coat each, but I honestly don't think that will help their motivation to work in the heat. I will possibly scratch the girls in any trials that are too hot for them. In summer the trials are only at night, then they move the trials to day time when it gets cooler, but in my opinion, it should move to day trials at least a month later than they currently do now, because it's still often quite hot this time of year still! I reckon May should be the beginning of day trials at the minimum!
  20. Congrats Kavik!! next time we want video :D
  21. Well done on Kenzie's debut!!! Looks like a lot of fun was had I'm confused though, which isn't hard because I don't know agility/jumping rules, I didn't think weave poles were in jumping?? :D
  22. I've never seen a trial in the snow before :D
  23. I'm bummed that yet again I missed out on the stays! Missed out at the last show n go too :D Seems they always get the last group together while I'm in the ring. Reeeeaally need to practice those stays, with both girls!
  24. Awesome!! See, when you have good sessions, you remember why you're doing it and why you enjoy it
  25. I'm the opposite, I would choose one of them to judge me over anyone else anyday :D They give it to you straight because they care! :D
