  5. 2ps It was Apsyre Two Step on Your Toes (Pheobe) a Zorro daughter She was also BCC 10pts. Awsome for such a young girl! Well done! Also licks from daddy Zorro!
  6. Yep have used it, and yes I would use it again. I second bringing bedding. Oh and you wont be able to visit your dog during the trip. The worming tablets you can use drontal or any wormer that has praziqantel and you will be fine, just bring packet and receipt and you will be fine. I hope that you have a lovely trip! I just LOVED tassie!
  7. LizT I was also told the same thing. Not to use the rubber backed for babies due to the rubber perishing , esspecially when soaked with urine. Only to use the green backed for babies. I used the rubber backed for the dogs here on top of their bedding, the rubber backed does perish a bit with age, but I've had it for ages now!
  8. I recommend Chris Preston, though hes a bit out of you way, an orthopedic specialist 43 Rickets road Mt Waverly 95487377 Very good at what he does. Goodluck.
  9. I too have one if chickens doesnt work out that you can borrow. I have a large steel one big enough for your dog for sure. I think its a 42 or a 48. Ancient but its great. I'm in berwick which is next door suburb to chicken. Berwick/Narre are about 1-1.5 hours drive. depends how fast you drive! LOL

  12. Guys I just thought that I should add this small point of discussion. The OP from the breeders section has spoken with me and I told him to go with his heart... Sometimes what you feel in your gut is much more important than what you see in front of you. If you arent comfortable, then it should be no. Also, the people concerned have owner a pointer before. In an appartment. So they do have an idea what they might need to do. I'm not saying one way or the other, just that the people concerned have owned the breed before, understand its requirements (I would assume!!!!) and from what I gather would love to bring a pointer back into their lives. I did mention to do a house check and various other points such as where the pup would be exercise, OFF LEASH as walking isnt enough. Still, your gut feeling should be the way you go. Not what others tell you to do. At the end of the day, as the breeder you will be left with a puppy returned to you as its living situation isnt excatly what the new owners had imagined... When it could have been prevented.
  13. Group 3 BIG was the english setter RUBIG was the weim Thats all I can remember sorry! LOL
  14. Aitewan, we've discussed this in length already. You know what my thoughts are. But I would possibly consider going to their apartment and seeing what the set up is? Where they would walk/exercise their puppy. It does sound to me that they are genuine. My parents had a pointer living in an appartment in poland some 30 years ago (yeh I know it was ages ago). The dog was their whole life and went everywhere they could take him with them. They had to go down an elevator some 8 stories to walk him and allow him to have a run at the park over the road. He stayed indoors otherwise and slept on their couch and bed. I would check a couple of things before saying no. Check the size of the apparentment, where he/she would sleep and also where they intend to let the dog OFF leash (walking isnt good enough as you know...) Also you may like to ask them, do they have a weight limit on pets they can keep in the appartment? Sometimes body coorporate doesnt allow a dog over 10kgs. A pointer will be that at like 4 months! To be honest. I'd rather a pointer live in a appartment that live locked up outside never to come inside. You would be guaranteed the dog would have HEAPS of human interaction which we both know how much pointers need. Sometimes peoples living arrangements arent the best, but they could make superb owners. Remember. How many pointers live int he UK in apparentments??? They dont have the luxury's we have here... Let me know how you go Aitewan. And POST SOME PICTURES!!!!
