Hi all, I have discovered that Tonka has urinated against a furniture leg at some point in time. I have light beige carpet and there is a dry yellow stain on it. I am sure I could get this off with professional cleaning but wonder if there is any do-it-yourself method/ product that I can try. It is not a huge area but is dry/old. I appreciate any recommendations :)

Thanks for all your replies. I do think he might be in the first stages of it as it generally is a delayed noticing. He certainly hears the cat scratching the carpet during the night and reacts with an annoyed growl so I think it is not too extreme right now but just noticeable compared to how he was. I will keep a close eye on it, with intermittent tests as many of you have described.

So I am beginning to suspect Tonka who is ten is losing his hearing. He frequently misses me moving around, which once upon a time he was onto like a shot. Is there any method to confirm this with more certainty. I wish I could ask him :)

Great photos everyone. I just want to acknowledge that I signed up for this but haven't kept up the commitment...I hate doing that!

I must be in the minority here but I have boarded Tonka at Hanrob many times including late last year for numerous weeks and he always comes back happy and healthy. A DOLer put me onto Happy Housesitters and I have used them since getting the cat and had some great people come and stay with the pets in my home...also very successful. I have had one repeat older lady come and look after them three times. You get retirees, young couples, singles.

Papillons are great smilers...happy pappy's I call them. Here is Tonka quite pleased with himself trying out the cat perch...that was before the cat came!

I only used the yahoo email account to sign up for Flickr... Unbelievable isn't it. I find it truly weird but after much toing and froing with Yahoo Customer Care they will not assist until I can answer the info on the account and my mobile and date of birth are not matching apparently

So after much frustration I have to accept that I seem to have lost my Flickr account. No info is matching up and I am stumped. I cannot tell whether I am really close to matching up or way off. But they are saying that it doesn't match and I only have one mobile phone number so it is so weird.... I think I am resigned now to starting a new one and replicating the 255 photos I have on the other one and just moving on. What else to do? That seems to be the path of least frustration.

1/52 Hyams Beach, Jervis Bay 2/52 Fashion Cat Posting from Photobucket as my Flickr sign in giving me grief (please see seperate thread if inclined to help :) )

So I haven't logged into my Flickr for while and am just trying to now. To my great annoyance my yahoo.com.au password is not working and when I go to the link 'trouble linking into my account' it is not picking up my mobile nor my alternative email address...and keeps offering to send through a new password etc to an email that is a UK one and NOT mine and to a mobile blanked out in the middle which is also not mine...no other options. I can't find a general help contact and I want to get into my Flickr... Help anyone???
