Did you progesterone test your girl? That will give you the best idea. Wouldn't hurt to have a vet check now.

My little heart attack this morning was walking into the back yard and seeing Rose in a perfect sit! 10 out of 10. Had her 5 months now and never seen her sit. But she was soaking up the rays. Rose is nearly 7 and sitting isn't the easiest thing for a Greyhound but she had nailed it. But for one second I thought OMG what has she done to herself
We can take the competition world by storm Perse

Makes it a lot less wholesome for me.
I haven't checked out the links but the people have come out that they did not start any go fund me stuff and not to donate. I saw it on Twitter.

walks are supposed to be enjoyable. I have decided to no longer walk mine. Large backyard and daily out the fenced front yard with me there to supervise. I've rarely walked them anyway as I had access to the local slipping track for them to run. Warrior is too old for that now, Phoebe never cared and Rose is happy doing laps in my back yard. There are so many bogans and their dogs in my area nowadays, the thought of exposing my dogs to them makes me sick.

I wonder how many people have tripped over a child or their toy?

Before you do, study how working police & protection sport dogs are trained to bite.
Yeah they get a whip waved in their face. Not likely to meet many of them though.

I like Rebanne's idea of taking a riding crop. I will have to check out where to buy one.

In most public streets there is no rules/laws that state you must leash your dog (although there is a law you do have to carry a leash on you at all times..). I walk my golden retriever off leash most of the time, but he is only within 1 meter from me, has been trained to wait for approval from me to approach any dog on our path, as well as to cross the street. It just depends on how their dogs behave, if they are like my dog, who just minds his own business next to me, sniffs the ground and doesn't care about other dogs passing I see no problem with this. Why should I punish and limit my dog just because someone is i don't know what when they see an off leash dog.
And don't get me wrong, I've seen people who are walking by us go into some sort of panic mode or whatever because they are afraid of dogs I guess, but all they get from my dog and me is a side eye and a casual walk by them, can't be afraid of a dog that couldn't care less about you lol On the other hand, there are many more people who love him and alway stop to cuddle with him and let their dogs play around with him and what not
Just socialise and train your doggos and you will all be more than fine!
What an arrogant post.

Annoys me no end. Only last week, on my local community page, it was told how a man had been attacked by a bull breed type, not far from me. My cameras picked up two staffy types running up and down my street, no person in sight. And again the most recent dogs in the pound, like the last 4 - 6 weeks were bull breed types. Not only annoys me but scares me.

try here https://www.dogzonline.com.au/breeds/breeders/papillon.asp ask some of the long term breeders if they could help you.

I hope there is some restrictions/notification for those people who are allergic to dogs or cats. Otherwise, it happens OS, so why not here.

Borzoi but requires grooming, long haired Chihuahua but requires grooming, Bull Terrier but would be too nervous about being stolen.

Nothing wrong with either brand that you are feeding. I've fed both to my dogs and pups over the years.

I very much agree with Perse. Warrior is coming up to 13, a good age for a Greyhound. He is very wobbly in the back end with little to no muscle tone. But he can still jump up on my bed. Which is a little bit my line in the sand. If he starts to become incontinent then he will be off to the bridge.

Aren't AmStaffs just rebranded pit bulls? As I understand Oz laws, legally speaking, an AmStaff without a pedigree is a pit bull in most states.
My belief as well

How about the owners take responsibility for their dogs actions. Like our poster in general.
