  1. Can anyone tell me the exact address as it is not coming up on google maps? Is it in the Rolling Meadows estate?
  2. Thanks for heads up, Eastlink then Eastern looking better proposition then. Link for further info- http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/Home/TrafficAndRoadConditions/RoadworksAndPlannedEvents/ Can you tell Sue for me and I will tell other Dane people out this way on my email list!
  3. Meant to say that for people travelling on the Monash freeway into Melbourne that part of Citilink will be closed on Sunday morning so best to allow some extra time.
  4. I'm going to aim for 7.00am and hopefully be able to get a car park close , i'll probaly go toll roads google maps tells me approx 1hr. I;m there Sunday (25th) so coming home then shouldn't be to bad but the following Friday (30th) should be fun. I am only taking onr bitch my Mini Bull Terrier so that makes it a lot easier with just the one dog.:D this is my first Royal showing dogs so it all new and a bit exciting although not looking forward to it being such a long day standing around luckily i have friends that will be showing on both days i'm there so that'll make it a more pleasent day :D , once again thanks for your help and good luck with your boy.;) I have pm'd you! Look up at the top RHS for new messages.
  5. Ha ... wasnt it dreadful... I wasnt hard to miss, I was the silly woman carrying the 25kg snow white dog everywhere... people took great pains to remind me "she does have legs you know!!" But other than carrying her to and from the ring I never left our gazebo, what a dreadful weekend - weather wise... Will we see you up here again soon, perhaps the double for the Albury shows in Oct? I don't think it will be in October as we have a few planned and then our Specialty shows but perhaps after that....The mud was about 6 inches thick outside the Group 7 ring- bit hard to pick the Danes up LOL although I have a new appreciation for my brindle boy as the mud didn't really show up on him but poor blonde fawn girl had black splatters everywhere.
  6. Hi Joan- didn't get to catch up with you at Albury due to the shocking weather! Asalei sometimes Woolworths/Safeway have cheap folding chairs.
  7. Hope you find them soon. Sending good thoughts for their safe return! I think the radio idea is a good one! 3 AW have a lot of lost things found! Their number is 96900 693 or 131312 from outside Melbourne.
  8. Baby Dane- Congistador Seize the Day went on to Baby Puppy in show Minor Frenchie- Daccord Cest Chic Piaff Open Frenchie- Ch Daccord Bergerac Wasn't entered today Oh BIS was a Gordon Setter
  9. I hope you enjoy many long years with your new boy!
  10. Thanks for posting that Bradley. I feed 2 Danes on Proplan Large Breed and I think it's OK but sometimes I find some runny droppings. Have tried adjusting the vegetables that they have and that seems to work.I don't think the bag has changed but I'll be on the lookout now.
  11. Will definitely be on the lookout now for some lightweight plastic raincoats to keep in the show bag. I had brought up a new suit for my girl who does the handling but that didn't even come out of the bag. We ended up wearing gumboots and more sensible clothes but still got wet. It was raining on Sat and Sun when Danes were on. On Sat my brindle boy wasn't too bad and the mud doesn;t show up on a brindle but Sunday he was naughty as he didn't want to do it. My fawn girl was OK on Saturday but didn't want to walk through the mud to the ring entrance on Sunday however once there she performed well. My handler said it was very slippery especially in gumboots. The judge had a very nice long raincoat on!
  12. Still didnt get my numbers but I know they received the entries.....this is the second show that this has happened in a couple of weeks. Same thing happened for show at KCC lasr Sunday. Think somethings happening at Australia Post. I can just pick them up on the day...but it makes you wonder what is going on.
  13. I see some Dallie in there not sure what the rest is.
  14. I also think that you are better to add your own but you need to know what the correct dose is for your dog's bodyweight. Some dry foods are now adding all these things as a marketing ploy but not enough for a therapeutic dose
  15. Pretty much unanimous in favour of Peter Hitchener. Only saw one dissenter!
  16. well you could just leave the gazebo where it is and walk to the next ring, it's not like it's miles Hope not. It's our first time there just don't want to get stuck where we can't see! Good idea to set up between the rings
  17. Received my numbers for these shows but noticed that Group 7 is in Ring 2 on Saturday and Ring 3 on Sunday. I hope that doesn't mean we'll have to move the Gazebo.
  18. So sorry to hear that you girl has passed Noisy Mina. Remember the good times.
  19. The owner of one of my pups informed me after the fact that their vet in NSW had highly recommended this procedure on their 4 month old boy whose hips were fine but just because he was a Dane. The Xrays showed no sign of any problems but it was a preventative measure. There haven't been any real problems in these lines as far as I know so wasn't happy. The poor owners thought that they were doing the best for him
  20. Poor girl. At least they left her in a place that she would be found.I hope that she pulls through and can live a happy life with a loving family. Well done to the vets for trying to give her a chance.
  21. How sad for Iranian dog owners Note to self- don't move to Iran!
  22. Have to admit that the Horrid, Shocking got me in!
