  1. Same here I have trouble getting past their teeth, :laugh:never mind the throat Only litte Chis' too but their teeth are sharp
  2. Taken this long and now OMG! I will check,It was Drontal
  3. I am my witz end as to what I should do.One whole end of my pergola is sectioned off with colour-bond for the fur kidz and their kennels. My male is always the first ready and quite willing to go to bed.During the day they are free to roam, used only to sleep in.Three weeks ago my bitch was in season,so brought her inside.Male really performed by scratching on the colour-bond gate & howling, didn't you hear it ! ;) Let him roam free ,put the bitch back in the kennel run, that was no better,he started scratching on the out-side of the gate.Male back to the kennel, bitch inside house again. Got over those two long weeks, ever since although they are now together in the kennel run he is still continuing to rattle the colour-bond gate, starts probably 1-2 hours intervals after he has been put to bed, then has another go at 2a.m.before the 5a.m.rattle, at this stage I let him out.I am in residential,if I was on acerage perhaps I could try ignorance. The gate is attached with 2 hinges, top & bottom to a post therefore all the noise is when he scratches where it is slack in between thus the noise.I have put up a heavy duty play-pen on the inside of gate and surround but he manages to pull this around& out far enough to get between it and the gate.I have threatened water to no avail,he just ducks into his kennel. I have just read some "crate" links,if I tried this I think he would howl the place down,I need to correct this behaviour asap , I want some sleep, can some-one else give me some ideas as to what they did in similar situation, as to what I should be doing. :D He is 3 years old& I have had him for 5 months, great little dog in all other aspects, just wish he would settle at night .Yes,he is a Cheeki-Chi Thanks folks P.S. Had another look at colourbond fence gate,I will add another 2 brackets to stop the slack,it is only about one metre high,so hope to hear from some-one in the meantime with a better slant on this for the long term.
  4. I didn't know know where to get on this run-away-train,heh folks any-thing is better than urine smell. Probably none left with all these orders,so busy making it no time to send it ;) VJP where is the other thread with lots of remedies etc? Is it full or are remedies still being added?
  5. I quite often have a pup or dog who just detests my putting a tablet in their mouth, but the other day I crushed the tablet fine as possible and rolled it in Liverwurst to a small ball, they all took the bait like a treat, very good out-come.Liverwurst can be purchased in most super markets in a small roll under $3.00 where all the packets of small goods are kept.
  6. I understand completely, bats in the next door palm tree every night drove us all crazy, left with the clean-up problem,any-one know how to get this off color-bond fences&pavers it sticks like super glue
  7. Ok i get it... im a sucky puppy mummy... I give up. The typical DOL pact mentality has come out again... How about we try and focus on the original question.... oh dear what was "the question again"!! :D
  8. My boy would be a male Hooker
  9. Cause he drives "The fastest Milkcart in the west"that's Erny
  10. Thanks Puggy I'll have a closer look as soon as I get outa here.
  11. Thanks Erny, are you the milkman I've copied and posted your post and will go into it with Google t'morrow, occupied is an understatement!!!I can hardly say those words let alone spell them, remembering another matter. See i did post re Trachea other day, seeing vet t'morrow this is a far greater concern, googled that OMG.
  12. They have 12 months from the date of whelping to register the litter.Yes,this is true.I always send in as soon as the litter is sold.Odd occasion if not all sold reg.remainder in my name and transfer over to new owner when the time arrives.Extra cost to me but doing the right thing by the other buyers.I would think alarm bells would be ringing should some-one purchase and "the breeder"not register the litter for 12 months. The buyer would not be able to show until it is in their name.
  13. Thanks S/K,will give them a go
  14. Any-one know the cure for a "crusty nose"?I had used vaseline & Vit/e,which she licks or wipes off.,further more what may be the cause?I thought may-be the sun, diet,if perhaps either why just the one with this little problem. What sun! not a sunbaker in any case.
  15. For those following this post and perhaps wondering did papers finally arrive.........happy to say at long last they did
  16. No way, look around, can't write my thoughts here! Be most convenient for me 5 minutes drive.Way too costly and many other vets don't rob you like they do. Try Mooney street(Authur)Woodridge 3290.4888,ring around all their prices are different.
  17. Very good question for my vet t'morrow,I would be suggesting collapsing as there was no mention as to "enlogated soft pallet'.Must Google it,to understand it all more fully.Daughters Chi,no relation to my line has acupuncture weekly,I suppose this would relax her muscles but seems like a bandaide on a very serious problem, can't breathe one dies!
  18. Has any-one had a small breed with Trachea problems,I say small breed as I'm told it is quite common. Emily my Chi has always had a grunting noise going on,sometimes gagging, never thought there was a problem(thought that was just charactoristic of her) until she had C/section and vet mentioned she was gasping for her breath coming out of anaesthetic, because she has a "Trachea" problem.I asked what "we"could do last week as I have noticed, seems mainly of an evening she seems to be gasping for breath.....at times. I was advised to get Bricanyl, for human ashma suffers and I now give her a one ml at night, only weighs 2.5 kilos. I am wondering if others have been through this ,how & if it was fixed . Concerned re the presure on her heart for the long term,3 years young now.
  19. Is it the Vit.A or what is it that makes this work,do we know?Very interesting.
  20. Great site.I am looking for bulk Kangaroo mince .Brisbane South. The Q>L>D link is in yellow,I cannot read it on white background! Big Gun are great for bulk Chicken wings& legs 12kg box $24.00.
  21. Recieved word that it is in the Post again, her friend called me,just hope I'm not conned again, live in hope, really over it! Really wearing a track to my letter box.Postie will think I fancy him or expecting Gold Lotto cheque lol
  22. Guess what the plot thickens, have been told she has left the marital home, last week....true? I don't know. Yeah had thought all of what you suggested, but then decided if she has lost the papers what was the point, even though when i last spoke she said she was posting, really don't know what to believe.Dogsnsw because of privacey matters won't disclose whether papers have even been applied for,be nice to know......something,anything....... was happening!Something positive. Not every-one is like this i was unlucky in striking a slacko. Many lovely breeders i have come to know as friends though my dogs.
  23. Thanks for your words of encouragement Christina,I really need some at the moment.Yes,I had no reason not to trust her,she has a good name with her line and i had not heard other wise,I'm sure it will eventually be sorted,I do not regret for one moment the purchase he is a beautiful little man, love him dearly& what a little hot stud he is!
