I didn't buy an orbee cos' I was afraid that I could lose a finger Thought it much safer to stick with the other tuggy. The little skunk was only mildly interested in it yesterday I've got a Kong rubber ball with a hole in the middle, so might put a rope thru' the middle, slightly longer that the rope on the orbee and give that a try :D -

My excuse for Pele has been "She a Bull Terrier, not a Border Collie" :p Might have to change it ;) -

Pele is definitely a character She was on a mission all day to pinch Kei's i-squeak and sooo proud of herself when she succeeded Even when we were working outside she was trying to drag me back inside to get it. She's got a memory like an elephant Now if I can get her to apply herself to her schoolwork as well -

Pele loves to play tug with anyone but me because then she doesn't/won't release the tug on command (mean Mum has rules ) and it's much more fun for her -

Didn't hear her being called at "pitty" Pele, the "Porker" is a Bull Terrier, well maybe a "Bottomless Pit" Bull Terrier Went to training at Woodville this morning after the beach, armed with the new tuggie, but she wasn't all that motivated by it -

And I reckon Pele the "Porker" was the most food motivated and the most tug motivated I thought about buying the orbee ball on a rope but think that it's way too close to my fingers :D I really admired Zuma's performance too Pele fell asleep as soon as she got into the car, had dinner when she got home then put herself to bed and there hasn't been a peep out of her -

Hope you are feeling better Check out this hilarious story Are Bull Terriers Good With Children? and consider yourself lucky

Sam was my first introduction to Bull Terriers too, and also the original version of the movie "The Incredible Journey" No don't know where Sam came from or if he had papers. At the time Alby Mangels was living at Murray Bridge, so assume that he came from a SA breeder. A few years ago as I was leaving the beach with Jessie, my previous BT I ran into a guy where I'd parked my car and he made a big fuss of Jessie, so we got talking. He was Alby Mangels mate Vic, in the World Safari movies ;)

Exactly, and the other idiot owner doesn't realise/care that you don't want your dog to practise any bad behaviour :D

He Just Wants To Say "Hi!" a brilliant article by Suzanne Clothier that all dog owners should read IMO :D

Don't worry, I'm sure that the lunch will be wonderful and there won't be any leftovers for Pele and Ness -
Don't think that all Bull Terriers are like Pele Many Bull Terriers cannot be let off of the lead around other dogs. Pele has been socialised with many dogs from the day she came home at 8 weeks and her training also started at 8 weeks. Pele has been trained to a very high level of obedience (Companion Dog) and is under control at all times even tho' she appears to be running riot with sticks

OK, here goes "Damn, too slow! If I was quicker I coulda tripped those joggers!" "I've swept the path clean!" "Watch out, here I come! I can't see where I'm going!" "Hmmm...how am I going to get my tree thru' the hole in the fence!"
-
Glad to hear that Honey is OK Maybe take some photos of the guy and his dog (make it look like you are taking a pic of your dog ), write down his car rego if he drives to the park, arrange for someone to follow him home and find out where he lives in case you need to report him at a later date. Good luck and hope you don't have any more run ins with them

What Is So Bad About A Halti/gentle Leader
Bully replied to megan_'s topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
I've seen people walking dogs wearing halti/head collars with extenda leads I did point out the danger to someone at the beach one day but felt as tho' they thought that I should mind my own business
