Thank you to the organisers, I thoroughly enjoyed the weekend away with the Cresteds and getting to show my neuter! Good entry of cresteds and managed to title the bitch I am currently showing, yay! Will be back next year :-)

I have received numbers but one lot is missing a dog/number - left a message with secretary yesterday. Hopefully will all get sorted!

Favourite: Leonbergers, Chinese Cresteds, St Bernards, Great Dane, Poodles Least Favourite: Terriers, Cocker Spaniels (not all, just the in-law's that get away with murder)

Maybe try writing down a list of sports/events to do with the olympics and key words/things they do? Might help with your Olympics theme? Good point Ceilidh - I guess it isn't really winning something for free, pay a fair bit with entries these days! Think my point of view may be getting reversed :p

When you win an art union house or car you can give it to me instead of making money off it :p LOL! Don't hold your breathe, I never win anything :p

It's great to see people have donated or given away prizes rather then making money off them. I don't know why but I wouldn't feel right selling something I had won. Just me I guess!

Somehow I missed this show, always a great show to attend. I'll be filling out my entries tonight and posting first thing in the morning - hope they get to you on time!

Little brag, not a win but the Gr6 judge gave my Leonberger a run for group/intermediate. It was great for the breed to finally be recognised in a group line up - I came home feeling like I had won it

Lol :) I'm too old for handlers (sadface lol) but happy to handle for anyone/do run offs etc if you need, just come and grab me! I was wondering the same, it was my first members comp. Everyone was casual to keep warm. I feel more comfortable showing in a suit jacket then my hoodie so I braved the cold :)

There was only two of us, a girl with Samoyds and me with the leos. The girl with Samoyds had a baby/puppy and also bitch and dog I think. One of which was in champ class. Can't recall if she had more than 3? I had my 21mth old Leo and also brought one of the older leos out of retirement for a bit of fun. Both mine were in Champ class. Hope that helps :)

A long, cold but enjoyable night. It was great to see quite a few judges express interest in getting to know the Leonbergers too Getting a prize was great too. Well done to the organisers :)

I drove to Sydney Royal from Melbourne this year and on the way back we stayed at Jolly Swagman as it was recommended to us by doggy people too. The dogs are allowed in the rooms with you and the prices are pretty fair too :)

I have a Chinese Crested who was on limited reg - I wasn't interested in showing when I bought her and she turned out really nice so I spoke to her breeder and we had her transferred to neuter reg. I'm in it just for fun, my crested has a great temperament and loves attention. She was never shown prior to neuter class so we have had to do a bit of training (stand not sit etc) but she's such a character and so fun to show :)

I'll add the page when it appears. Thank you for doing this BB. As I mentioned I own a Leonberger and a neuter Chinese Crested. Unfortunately they clash (Gr 1 & 6) so I don't show both. Due to lack of neuter shows offered I travelled from Hastings to Geelong because there was the option to show my Crested and have some fun with her. That's dedication to the neuter class IMO Would be great to see more shows at KCC/Bulla offer neuter classes.

Last few shows I've done at Geelong I was glad I had my gumboots. So don't forget your wet weather gear! :) Not great weather for my cresty! Lol
