  5. P is for Pagoda. This is at the Chung Tien Buddhist Temple in Brisbane.
  6. I've always used it with lots of success. Both on my dogs and on rescue dogs. The only time I've ever put a dog on full kibble was when I had a very fast growing labrador pup. I put him on Advance large breed puppy with nothing else. His growth continued at a very fast rate and he developed severe ED. I am not blaming the food by ANY means but I wonder if slowing his growth by feeding bones would have lessened the severity of the problem somehow. I wish I'd trusted myself and raised him on raw. My dogs are lean and healthy with great muscle tone. Shiny coats and lots of energy. Here's a picture of my girl I took today. It's not a great picture by any means (and her face is dirty ) but you can see how lean she is, yet nicely muscled and sturdy. She's going through a coat change so her tail is thin. She's been running with me and she's really well conditioned. Fed BARF which is changed around a lot, chicken mince/wings/pieces, lamb flaps and brisket and whatever else comes in the bag. They get veges 1 - 2 times a week with an egg. Fish oil, green barley powder and that's about it!
  7. If your dog is walking ahead of you then he is trying to take charge. He needs to be corrected and brought back to heel.
  8. Lovely tribute Jed. She sounded really special. RIP Poppy.
  9. I hope he's okay - it doesnt' sound like symptoms that should be waited on till morning. Just out of interest, for those suggesting bloat, I thought that was non-productive vomiting or a bit of froth? This dog vomited the entire contents of her stomach and then vomited bile. How would this happen if the stomach was twisted and both entry and exit blocked? Bile is produced below the exit to the stomach. I'm usually relieved if my dog is retching and brings something up as I thought it meant that bloat wasn't possible. Have I misunderstood?
  10. Sorry my mistake. I haven't worked with children recently, only GP where people aren't that sick.
  11. Your dog would be walking around with a hardon all day Viagra was originally researched as a cardiac drug until they discovered an unexpected side effect!! I can imagine it would be very expensive though as it is for humans. It isn't prescribed as a cardiac drug for humans and, in fact, can interact badly with a different type of vasodilator which people use for angina attacks.
  12. Warley - love the mist picture and Terranik - the water balloon pic is awesome!
  13. Two Aussie kids These two are like an old married couple and I think this picture really shows it.
  14. I finally got something good to photograph besides dogs!! I love the one of the birthday girl in her red and white dress. It's dark but it's kind of moody.
  15. PPS did Poodie's father get any genes in there or is she just a clone of you? Great shot. She's got one of those "old world" kind of faces. China doll .
  16. Their exuberance is lovely but can be wearing at times!! They are just feral as puppies.
  17. Love the picture of Pagan. She is beautiful! Montall I had a look back and your picture of the dripping tap really stuck in my mind! Very clever.
  18. I've been slack. So here are three pictures of the Golden Boy to make up for it. I haven't looked at everyone's photos as my computer is SO slow. Could you just kiss that little face all day?
  19. Gundogs are nutters. Very excitable but highly trainable. They have big play and socialisation requirements
  20. This happened to me last week too. I had to jump in and save the little bugger
