So, my sister [inlaw] in NZ has decided on the brown/tan Dobermann puppy!! They picked up Karma on the weekend and it's my job to find good toys online for her :D But I'm clueless on good online NZ pet stores. Must be North Island, though I kinda gather they are all based around Auckland? They live an an acre of land, so Karma has soooo much room to run when she's older. Casey has a 12 month old baby too, but that isn't stopping her! So I'm helping where I can. We had no idea that importing dogs in to NZ was so $$$ and now we do! eta - What size Kong would you suggest for a Dobermann? I haven't bought one for ages and can't remember how big they are.

So off topic but my English Pointer and Belgian Shepherd wouldn't go with anyone other than me.

Mine did well on VIP until my Labrador got the runs from it She has a a gut of steel, so I immediately stopped feeding it and back to normal she went. I think someone else had the same issue but I didn't keep the specific bag, so I couldn't check the batch number.

I'm still really happy with this food for both my dogs and cats. The poo pick up is different for sure! Heaps smaller. Might have finally found a decent dry food that they all do really well on. With the cat one, I find they don't eat the whole bowl of food when I dish it out either, they now graze.

Can I ask why? Honestly just really curious, that is all :) My reason for not liking the other three types [though I have only ever owned a Groen] is that they have too much of a GSD coat appearance and I LOVE black dogs. I am also not keen on German Short Hair Pointers. English Pointers all the way.

So a Furminator is good for a Labs coat? I should get one for my two! I get asked so many times when people meet Ivy [Groenendael] if I shave her in Summer

Shes grown up in NZ and never been to Australia, so docked tails is all she knows. There aren't many breeders on the Dogz page though ...

My sister in law lives in NZ and is looking to add a Black/Tan Dobermann bitch to their family. She has been in contact with a breeder in NZ with a litter but the lady has decided to keep the last black girl but has given Casey pick of the last Brown girl. Casey is pretty set on black. Which in my opinion is totally cool. I have no idea about flying a pup to NZ [Auckland] in regards to approx cost. So can someone give me a rough cost?

Opps I didn't even look at the protein levels of the Advance food. Yeah Meals for Mutts is quite low.

I'm the reverse. I'm a Groen owner and adore Belgian Shepherds but have no interest in the other three types.

Just though I'd add that we're on this brand at the moment. Really happy so far, apart from the piece size but I don't ever feed it on its own. Love the fact that they DON'T add sneaky chicken or potato! Plus the ingredients list is really short compared to most I have tried. The name doesn't bother me, I call my guys mutts all the time, even though they aren't. Also just started my cats on the Meals for Meows too.

Just seeing how you are going with the new diet?

I agree; I don't bother with dog food reviews anymore! It is all about trial in our place.

Instant dislike for me ... potato I wouldn't go near it myself Already a small convo about it here.
