  1. I'm entered Got my numbers yesterday and no breakdown showpony.
  2. A Neuter thread YAY I entered for the first time and showed my recently neutered Amstaff boy on Saturday at the Rylstone Kandos Show Society in NSW and was stoked with our results but most of all by the people getting behind the neuter class, the show sec tells me 21 were entered in this smaller country show, so a nice turnout with people entering just for the neuter class and also entering their other entire dogs because the neuter class was offered, made it more worth while i guess. Here is Sproket aka Ironklad Upping The Ante whom hasn't been shown since he was a baby and fresh into the neuter class taking out Neuter In Show i was so pleased and even more so for all the kind words and congrats by the other exhibitors, i had never had so many congrats for a class in show with an entire dog lol
  3. Oh Daddy's home, Daddy's home! Puppy Butts!
  4. There's no shortage of homes if you don't care where they end up, as long as they have the cash.
  5. Not in the Oct journal - only Amstaffs, but now I'm going to go look back through a few back issues... Sonia Yikes, another 7 litters, same breeder, in the July Journal. 34 more puppies. All Amstaffs, all born in Dec/Jan/Feb... plus another breeder, different kennel name with two parent that have the first breeder's kennel name... Sonia ETA - Every journal I have opened so far has puppies bred by this one breeder, and I'm talking multiple litters per month. You're not on about a certain 'Greek' breeder are you, he must have 50 dogs on his yard. Hopefully the good breeders wil keep these dogs out of their breeding programs. Snap! Anyone got a copy of the dvd i have been meaning to watch it for a while now .... NOT!
  6. 57 puppies in a month! I'm guessing this breeder also registered large numbers of other breed puppies aswell I get where you are coming from geo, size is getting to be a big issue with the breed there are more and more 'breeders' popping up everyday with the bigger is better theme, big heads, extreme bone and muscle mass (which they are mistaking for FAT) 40+kg beasts which are usually a certain colour because apparently it's worth an extra grand for that colour. The showring is flooded with oversized dogs and the judges are thinking that big is the norm, i have even seen a judge comment on a lineup that all the dogs were standard sized when in fact they ranged from a standard sized 19 inch to another few that were clearly a good 4-5 inches over the other dogs, when the large dogs were awarded a fellow with a Rotty came over to ask if an Amstaff was meant to be bigger than his Rotty. The Amstaff is in no way a large breed, everything is in moderation including it's medium size. Some of the dogs i see displayed on sites you would wager are products of "fudged" papers, what ever happened to graceful & agile. Amen!
  7. Spot on! I have done it once, it back fired and another dog took the CC anyway. I would never ask another to pull a dog so mine could gain points, how pointless is that!
  8. YAY for lil Angel! Well done guys, what a little star
  9. Looking at Vegas' chart for her recent litter, her base temp was 37.6 with it dropping to 36.8 six days before it dropped again and she went into labour if you can call it that lol
  10. Woohoo! Congrats guys, you 2 looked like pro's out there, i had no idea it was only your 2nd show
  11. What about group shows? I have seen people advertise their dogs as BIS Ch. on their profile whilst only winning a group show, now i think that is misleading!

  22. My girl is like this aswell, last time i had to sit in the box with her all day with her sitting in my lap (imagine an amstaff here, but this isn't unusual for my sookie girl), she wouldn't let me leave, after she finally whelped the bean bag just outside the box was my makeshift bed lol Looking just a tad pregnant here at around 40 days.
