  1. I thought he was a good looking boy already, brilliant photographics make him look even better! Glad to see he's making himself at home!
  2. Red or maroon I think would look quite nice. Maybe with tan/beige pants?
  3. I would say yes to having my fluffs in a ground level unit/townhouse with a courtyard for a short term period, but not in a complex 10 stories up with no yard access.
  4. Perhaps some controlled socialisation with praise when exhibiting 'correct' behaviour, coupled with some rescue remedy?
  5. Got it to fit a 3kg express postage bag. Thanks for the suggestions!
  6. Ok thanks Aziah. Actually i thought the BOB gets a point for each dog it beats that is eligible for a CC (regardless of the sex)? Yes, but say for example the dog won the CC, he gets points for all eligible dogs beaten. If that CC dog goes on to beat the CC bitch for BOB, he then gets points for all eligible bitches. So basically what Aziah was trying to say.
  7. and claiming Phar Lap as their own. And making us take the blame for Russell Crowe!
  8. Great for putting on here. They had 2 ads in the paper last Saturday, one in General Notices and one in the Pet section, so hopefully some more interest is drummed up from there.
  9. A 3kg might work, though don't know if the bag of food could squeeze in there? I know the boxes can get quite expensive because they work out the volume (in cubic metres) and charge it from that.
  10. From what I understand, if either the sending or receiving airport don't accept dogs in the terminal, then the dog must be sent as freight and collected from freight at each end.
  11. You love to stir the shit, don't you shortstep? You don't happen to be the woman in the article, hmm?
  12. She is also selling them entire......mmm how long till Klee Kai crosses are being sold? Give it a year and the puppy buyers may try to recoup the ridiculous cost of their first dog. Actually if you follow population genetics at all, she should place all the pup with the potential for breeding them. In order to build up the bred in Australia they will need dogs to breed eh? Who says she wants to build up the breed in this country? Nothing in the article to state that.
  13. I probably should have sent my puppy pack interstate days ago, however I still haven't quite finished doing up the info booklet, plus I've been holding out as long as I can to see if the papers arrive in the mail. The puppy pack includes the info folder, a 1.5kg bag of dry, a can and a toy. How have other people sent packs interstate?
  14. The breeder in the US probably isn't entirely ethical either, knowing they were to be shipped to a country with no hope of recognition. And surely must have known the importer's intention to sell them all for a quick buck. ETA - Actually the breeder is probably doing everyone a favour by selling all the pups... no chance of a brother/sister, father/daughter or mother/son mating....
  15. Male leg lifting may have something to do with the age they were desexed, in the case of males I've had anyway. Our old boy was desexed at 6 months and never once marked in the house, whereas Blaze was desexed at around 5 years old, and he still marks.
  16. Ah, I didn't know. Thanks for that. Veeeery expensive pets.... at least they're recouping their money by breeding.
  17. I wonder if she's going for ANKC recognition? Judging by lack of mention in the article, probably not.
  18. This was going to be my suggestion too. Having others hovering around might instill a bit of competition into her, and she may want to eat it so the others can't get to it.
  19. I've just bred myself a male and female to keep. But if I were to get one from another breeder (which may be on the cards in a couple of years) I'd prefer a male, for breeding/showing/pet. Would like a male to expand on the line I already have.
  20. Most enquiries haven't stated a gender but this again is only my first litter. I did have 2 enquiries for bitches, one for a specific colour before the pups were even born!
  21. A champions class could be a bit of a 'parade' at the end of awarding CC's perhaps, and not judged as a class. A bit overkill for every Ch show, but maybe for specialities.
  22. Gee I wonder who the judge would give best of breed to then. I don't think champions, grand champions or untitled dogs should have their status revealed to the judges at all. I agree. This could prompt inexperienced judges and those unfamiliar with certain breeds (though they shouldn't fall into either of these categories) to give the CC's to their Champion class winner because hey, they're already titled so they must be good.
