One of our Danes are in but have heard nothing yet. -
Sorry to hear your news MM Belly shot of Perri (taken a few nights ago) New Whelping box OH has built as our old one was past its use by date ;) The old girl has taken over it dreaming of past babies not doubt. She has such a strong maternal drive even though she has been de sexed for a few years now. Just loves babies

What a crock of............................ I have rehomed a successful Australian Champion to a wonderful home. YES he too came with PREMIUM dog food. The cost. NADA! Because I knew it was a great home. Guess what? He lived well into double figures as well. I know other breeders who have re homed wonderful ex show dogs at no cost. Healthy well bred dogs. Don't generalise. There are plenty of unhealthy crossbreeds who don't live a long life out there as well. Plenty of healthy ones also who are PTS each week in the pound.

The majority of dogs that end up in pounds etc are X breeds. Why do we want more? We cannot adequately care for the ones already.

Gosh we have had some memorable ones. From a rusty old metal plate for a BIS to a lovely Outdoor table setting, wine cooler, gazebo and a whole heap of BBQ accessories for a recent BIS. Microwave oven was a great prize. Cash is always good. My very first Junior Handler prize was an ABBA record. Now I am gving my age away

we actually had a really good time. Downed a bottle of scotch, had lovely crackers and dip and pate and I enjoyed showing the furkids, even the grumpy one LOL Did you get my pm? Got it! Will send tonight. There were 1000+ photos I took on the weekend LOL................ see what you can do when you have no dogs to show of your own

I have several of them and they have lasted well (couple of years) until Sol arrived here and he ripped two of them. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. They get less noisy with age. Best beds and only ones I have purchased that have lasted.

Greenbank is normally the weekend that the Specialties are held (specialties on Sunday) also Casino triple is held same weekend. Last year we did Casino. Greenbank close to me as well. I cannot travel during March because of puppies so was hopeful to go to Greenbank.

Hi Miss B, she got 2nd to Jacinta on Sat but nothing on Sunday in handlers. It was very hot on Sunday and Ian was very kind to let her use Claude the Pap conisdering how hot it was. I am not as burnt as I got up at Toowoomba but I think Toowoomba was more wind burn. Boy it was hot yesterday and no better outside today!

That's my girl She was so upset that we could not show our dogs and she could not show her Sheltie as she has him well on the way to his Grand. She ended up showing quite a few breeds picking up everything from BOB's to CC's. We had fun even though Sat afternoon started out pretty

Yep rock on up there. Guess what? They DON"T have my entries. We still stayed and BJ handled a lot of dogs and did well over the weekend. I won't be going back next year though. Did have a great time camping with the girls though :-) Thank dog I took the Midori!

I pulled my bitch as soon as I bred her. She is six weeks in whelp now. Hopefully once she has the pups she will bounce back and she will be back in the ring. Way too hot to be showing a preg bitch up here this time of the year. She is happier to be at home in the air cond (although she did try and hide in the trailer when I was packing last week to go to Toowoomba ) To each their own but I in most cases would not show once bred.

I will come over and have a goodbye drink on Sat. Wes is a really nice kid Ian

I am packing the fans, cool coats etc. Praying a big storm does not go through! See you all up there. I am leaving tomorrow.

Have a great trip to Tassie! Will see you around in March after Perri has her babies. I have not done Wondai for about 6 years! Last time I went up there I swore I would never go back because of the heat. Will be taking lots of fans, cool coats and silver shade.
