you could feed her chicken breast my bet s she would love it , and it will be quiet expensive for you..lol raw necks and wings are fine.. if you are worried at all,, just cute the tip off the wing u will find she will love chewing ont hem.. also another things is if u are worried about the necks bash them a bit with a meat basher thingy..lol she should also be having raw meaty bones. puppies need to chew and it is good for them.. , my dogs and 1 is a 15 week old pup get a mix of.. chicken necks wings lamb offcuts chicken frames brisket bones offal ox cheek sardines eggs vegies all raw the only thing i will cook is rice..unless they have our vegie leftovers from dinner, then u have to be carefull what they are getting NO onion at all... rice and kibble.. can not stress enough NEVER EVER any cooked bones..

Best And Worst Of Your Club
ReXy replied to wheres my rock's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
good points... nice quiet grounds small classes freindly poeple train using positive methods access to agility at no extra cost great puppy socialisation classes indoor good friendly instructtors willing to listen and help. bad points. bad lighting and car parking thats about all i can think of.. -
that may be true with some people that stay at home all day, not everyone is the same. the same goes for people that have pets and work all day.. not everyone is as resposible and takes all nessasary measures to ensure the saftey pup, this is why we have so many backyard orniments that end up in shelters..

well it lasted all of 2 days. while it was a concern for me, it didnt bother him at all. it seems to be as others have said a mild reaction from the spray.. my other dogs didnt have any coughing or any effects from it aparently if its just a reaction to the nasal spray it is not contaiges to other dogs?, so u have to wonder.. the vet did say that there might be a reaction.. eg snotty nose and sneezing, didnt say annything about a cough. mind u tho it was not my usuall vet , and i wont be going there again. thanks for the advise tho guys it was a relief to here others thoughts..

what a shame CC... to think allt hat work u put in too.. to cold blahhhhhhhhhhh.. lame excuse.. :p :p
-
bel no one would think u of all people is a bad owner.. you treat those 2 like royalty and they have the best of homes.. eddie is a great well adjusted dog.. hes got the good life thats for sure.. i guess its an individual personal thing..
-
i agree 100 %... personaly i wouldnt , just because i think they need more company and socialisation at that age.,. this is when they start to learn so many valuable things.. also can learn some not so great habbits.. puppies need to bond and be part of the family,, just MHO tho.. i also dont think its safe.. there could be any number of things a young pup can get in to if left to own devises.. that is not to say she shouldnt.. there may be ways around it,. such as a small pen or yard perhaps with nise cosy bedding etc.. also depends on the breed i think..

Mine both got KC a week or so after having the nasal stuff vaccination and then my old dog got KC anyway a month later at the kennel. Last year we had the C5 injection and no KC even after a few days at the kennel. Is the nasal delivery more likely to give them a mild dose of KC? thats what im wondering???? toby had it earlier this year and was a little unwell and lethargic but no coughing.. he did sneeze a bit and have a little snotty nose tho from memory.. maybe they do get a touch of it?
-
never cook ANY bones.. raw chicken necks and wings are fine.. u dont need to cook any food at all, you can feed all raw foods. better for them..
-
hi corinne yes he did have the c5 and it was the nasal spray?????

yess piccies please... lol my dog when he was a baby pup did this as well, couldnt walk anywhere without him grabbing on and chasing us..lol he would growl when i tried to take him off.. the way i told him was to either clap really loud.. or a firm NO and give him something of his own to chew and play with... pick up the nearest thing.. that is his and shake it in front of him to get his attention, he will se that that is hopefully more interesteing and go for that.. always replace what you are taking from him with something of his own. never just take something and then leave him.. same hoes for if he has picked up your show or something that hes not supposed to be chewing,, always replace with something of his own..puppies love to chew they need to chew.. make sure he has lots of his own things to chew.. we demand pics lots of em.. good luck with your pup..what breed is he..

no not at all she is very young and is learning lots she wont be confused , i have just trained my 10 month old boy to go in his crate after training the younger pup , they soon learn that that is the place to go.. sorry if ive missed this but another thing to think about is,, has she had any of her vaccs and up to date with worming etc.. not sure if its been mentioned as yet???. i strongly recomend a crate . i couldnt be without one now...
