  1. Found this on the DOGS Vic website Royal Melbourne Show Exhibitors - Please be aware that sections of the Monash Freeway are scheduled to be closed at various times on the night of Saturday 18 through to morning of Sunday 19 September. Please consider alternate routes - refer City Link website www.citylink.com.au to avoid long delays. Please forward to anyone you may know that is entered on Sunday. Cheers
  2. Same here I thought Carrie Bickmore's comment was heartless to say the least - couldn't believe that she actually asked Chris Brown if little Harry would be better off - insinuating that he leads some hell of a life as a show dog all strung up in the show ring & all of the blow drying etc - blah, blah, blah !!!! Shame on Ms Bickmore for her insensitivity & total lack of knowledge & understanding of how precious our beloved dogs are to us. As for Charlie making jokes :D Well I thought better of him being such a dog lover - he supposedly dotes on his Scottie cross & Westie dogs. How would he feel if one of his beloved dogs was stolen. VERY Disappointed My heart goes out to Harry's family - I hope that he is soon back home with them.
  3. Friday the 10th! 4 dogs, 5 bitches. Leos: 1 dog plus the 3 bitches. Dandies: 4 dogs, 1 bitch Love these little guys. Thanks so much for the entry numbers - much appreciated Cheers
  4. Could you please let me know how many Leonbergers (I know of 3 already - the Puppy Bitch & 2 Open Bitches) If you could also tell me how many Dandie Dinmonts I would be so grateful. Thank you
  5. Hi - For anyone located in Victoria who is interested in Leonbergers you should try to come along to the Utility Dog Club of Vic Rare Breeds & Champ Shows this Sunday at KCC Park. There are at least 17 Leonbergers entered in the Rare Breeds Show. Several interstate Leos are making the trip from NSW & Tasmania. It's a fantastic opportunity to see so many of this magnificent & rare breed together in the one place. The ages will range from 8 months to 8 years + with a fairly even mix of boys & girls. Come over & say hello - we will all make you very welcome - most especially our Leos Cheers www.adlihtamleonbergers.com
  6. The dog can be moved to Main register and the Syndicate ownership done at the same time. You can just write on the front or rear of the certificate of registration that you want the dog moved to the main register - you do not have to submit a letter or give a specific reason - that would only be required if the dog's registered owner was another person as they would need a letter from you as breeder to move the dog from Limited to Main registers. Both you & the coowner will need to complete a Syndicated Dog application form - ring the office if you need one sent out to you or download from the DOGS Vic website http://www.dogsvictoria.org.au/assets/form...ed%20dog_10.pdf There will be 2 transfers fees - one for the move between registers & the other to transfer the dog into the Syndicate. You will also have to write out a Syndicate agreement which has to be signed by both parties - you must submit a copy of that with the Syndicate application form. Cheers
  7. Hi Elsha - hope all of your pups are doing well - still not sure I could ever go down the breeding track again so I admire those who do. It will be great to meet Lyn & Meia - We will all be there well before 9am but Lyn doesn't have to get there so early - It's usually a long day. 4 - possibly 5 of Saffy's pups will be there - I can't wait to see them again so that I can give them a big Kerrie from Tassie & 4 of the NSW Leo folk are coming to Melb for the show - they are all staying with me - that should be great fun - like a big Leo slumber party - I'm so looking forward to seeing them all - especially Beth I'll have my camera so will be sure to send you through some pics of the day seeing as you can't be there. Cheers - Lyndsay

  14. Many congratulations to all of the new Mums & their puppies & heartfelt sympathy to those who have lost little ones to the My beautiful girl Saffy delivered 10 puppies by c-section on Friday 13th November. (Her due date was 14th November). We had 7 boys & 3 girls. Sadly 1 little boy was really tiny and despite all of my efforts he passed away the next morning - I cried the whole day. The remaining 9 are doing OK and their Mum is recovering well from the c-section. Best wishes to you all. Cheers
  15. aaaaaawwww Mikki looks beautiful I'm loving all of the pictures of the girls & their baby bellies. I'm a bit of a lurker in this thread - I check everyday to see how all the expectant Mums are doing - Best wishes to those waiting for pups this weekend. I'm keeping for you all. Thanks to everyone who sent good wishes for my girls first litter - here are a couple of pics of her taken last Tuesday at 7 weeks - she has quite a preggy belly !! We only have another week & a bit to go. Cheers
  16. Thanks Laneka And many congrats to you too that your girl Mikki is in whelp with frozen puppies. This litter will be extra special as this is the first successful frozen semen AI litter for Leonbergers in Australia. For whatever reason (s) all previous attempts have failed - so this really gives hope to other Leo breeders for future AI's using imported semen. Very happy news in several ways. Cheers
  17. Hi - I don't think I know anyone on this forum but I've been following your November litter notices with great interest - congratulations to all of the expectant Mums. I'm overjoyed myself as one of my Leonberger girls has been confirmed pregnant after doing a TCI using imported frozen semen from Ireland. Her pups are due around the 17th November. It's a first litter for both the Mum & me - exciting but also scary times ahead. Cheers!

  20. Leonberger friends of mine in New Zealand rave about this product & recommended I switch my Leos on to it. I've not been able to find a supplier until now - thanks so much for posting the link to the company who will deliver. Cheers
