She looks like a greyhound pointer cross. Fingers crossed she finds a home. -

Hi all, I'm heading overseas for a month in September and I can't work out how to manage my photos while I'm away. I have a Nikon D800, shoot raw, and the files are MASSIVE. I won't have a laptop with me. I've been buying up CF cards (I've got five now) but I still think I'll run out of room - I only get around 200 files on a card and I can take that many photos in an hour. I don't know if I should just keep buying cards (expensive) or if there is some other way of removing the data from the cards and storing it on something else?? I read about a thing called a Nextodi device - has anyone used anything like this? I'm just not sure how to go. I don't want to shoot jpg so I'm kinda stuck with the big files.

I discovered that buying wallpaper was far far cheaper to do in the UK online than here in Australia :)

It's the wallpaper in my bedroom :). It's called Woods and was designed in 1959. I saw it in a magazine I think and fell in love :D My link

I'm not sure.... she's pretty fussy. There were others that were possibly nicer, but I love that one because she is laughing, and it makes me smile when I look at it. We had such fun! She is far braver than I and was quite happy to de-robe lol. I've been wondering where you'd got to and hoping you'd catch up when you had a chance :)

Oh, goats are wonderful! These are my first three and I'm totally smitten. I've got Anglo Nubians and they are the friendliest animals. So personable and smart. Very off topic but a few more photos for you - how beautiful is Utopia? :D

You'll have great fun with your new DSLR!
