  1. Just remember that in some cases, a singleton or very small litter doesn't trigger the hormones that enable whelping to start so if she goes too many days over what you think her absolute LAST due date is, then I'd be getting her checked. She may need some assistance.
  2. OMG OMG OMG....I want one of those please! I could breed Teacup Hairless Rare Blue English Staffies!! I'll be RICH!!! Here's a brace, Ellz, just what you need. 15cms high, blue genes back to genesis. We do accept American Express or used bills. Thank you, I accept your kind offer and will forward a rubber cheque by return post!
  3. Thank you all. I had a really fabulous time taking them. It had been a really revolting week so destressing in the paddock with the dogs and horses on a lovely sunny and warm Spring afternoon was a real mood lightener! And guys....those of you who remember Mr Ed will remember how opinionated he was. Well...multiply that by about 50 and you've got Dewey the horse who firmly believes he is a dog 50% of the time and a people the other 50% of the time. He has been known to come inside and pull the cat off the top of the microwave (by the tail no less) and Mr Ellz always used to comment that he fully expected to arrive one day and find Dewey either sitting on the couch watching TV, or laying back in the bed smoking a cigarette! He says Dewey is the one man in my life who poses a serious threat to our marriage and that it is a damn good thing Dewey is a gelding!
  4. Learning that you cannot drink with a bone in your mouth. When you open your mouth, you drop the bone into the trough. Note also that we can't just DRINK from the trough, we have to stand in it!
  5. Kellie wondering what might be waiting on the other side of the fence.

  7. Are you there? Ah yes...there you are!
  8. "P*** OFF, I'm trying to sleep!" says Tia, the belligerent teenager!
  9. He's probably got more brain cells than LL anyway puppy sniffer! Yes, this is my wonderful heart horse Dewey, high percentage Crabbet Arabian. I had a lovely afternoon tramping the paddocks with Woger, Kellie Kelpie and Fang Greyhound just snapping photos whenever the urge bit. I took over 450 photos within about an hour and so far, I'm really pleased with the percentage that actually worked!
  10. Staffords are more prone to parvo as well for some reason, according to every vet I've ever been to. I do 8wks, 12wks, 16wks.
  11. I feed Optimum puppy to my litters and am very satisfied.
  12. The Woollies select is Coprice for sure. And I have a feeling that the Coles is the same, they certainly LOOK the same and both have the same results on my dogs when I feed them. And yes, I do feed these on occasions....usually when I've not been able to get UA or GB or when the pocketbook is feeling the pinch. Of course, for the benefit of the Food Nazis...yes, I realise that I'm poisoning my dogs and that I don't deserve to have dogs, but I have two dogs in particular who were on the Coles and Woollies foods for years and nobody could pick them apart from the other dogs that were on different foods!
  13. Be a bit careful here. You may not be aware but the Woolworths Select is actually repackaged Coprice.
  14. Woger says he thinks the spotty dog should be called Doofus.
  15. A breeder can charge whatever they want to charge for THEIR property. If a potential purchaser doesn't like it, then they are more than welcome to walk away.
  16. Ooh...thank you yes! It does look a lot like those photos from the professional kennels that specialise in breeding rare blue Staffies so that's a nice start! Definitely put me down for at least one of those ta!
