Fiona, You'll be fine, everyone in here is a fantastic help, and a fair few of us are in newy, We sucessfully survived our first show ever last month with my new Aussie shepherd bitch.. You'll be fine! Me thinks we'll need a get together for Peach to play with the newbie!

Our next show is Sat and Sun 16th and 17th at Hillsborough..

I didnt have a grooming table or arm band for our first show.. I used a towel on the ground and a safety pin for my number.. For my birthday however, Im trying to find a cheap show trolley!

RIP chookies.. I lost one of my girls last week, she flew over the fence of our coop and Sparky made his own fun while I was at work :D

The 'kids' have got me roof racks for the gazebo OH got me for christmas LOL Santa just arrived early in this house and dropped off the dogs sandpit in the backyard for us! yay :p Merry christmas everyone! :D

I only have one goal, and that is to go out and show my new puppy and not be scared off because im a shy person. I dont care if we win or not, just getting out there will do!

I think a fair majority of us know that Bub spoils her dogs rotten, I really think some of the comments in here are uncalled for.. Anyway, I do the same thing Bub, worry myself stupid about the dogs while we are on Holidays.. My mum comes and looks after them at home but I still worry. I even set up Preprepared meals and sometimes my instruction list takes more than one page.. And Im one who calls mum most days to check how they are!

We are all set for the weekend now, had show training this afternoon for the first time and we went well, Peach walked on the lead fine, she wouldnt stand still but cant complain with that! Feeling alot better about it now!

Im happy to pick you up Sammy if you dont have a car.. We'll just have to squash in there!

Once Top goes to the bridge I will get OH his Aussie, a blue merle. Maybe we can convince him to fall in love with Peach at Morisset and he'll want one now? Thinking of not taking Sparky because all Peach wants to do when he is around is to jump all over him, lead or no lead.. baby is gorgeous Deb Can't wait for a cuddle. Sammy Im up for it if its next Thursday, we have preschool on Wednesday night so can't make it then.

Yep Sugarloaf are on the high side as far as i know.. Not sure where you are located The Ark, but Im fairly sure that Maitland vet (the one on the highway) is 24/7.. Im 90% sure I have read it on their sign.. As for us, we use Cessnock West.. but thats because we are at Kurri and its closest to us (not really, we are just down the road from Kurri vet, but I refuse to use them )

Our Aussie shepherd boy still squats at 9 months old, I hope he squats forever.. We went for a walk in front of a row of restaurants a few nights ago and Sparky did a wee on the grass over to the side, so OH praised him for being a 'good girl' because he was embarrassed his boy dog squats

Peach (for everybody who doesn't know, is the same age as banjo but from a different litter) flipped her lid the first few times our other three ran and barked at the door, and hid in the corner. She is pretty much fine with it now though, and couldnt care less about anything else, including wheelchairs and loud music and crowded areas (and some drunk people coming up and going "OMG ITS SOOOOOO CUTE!!") Might just be because he is settling in, so Im guessing if your dog has a temperament fault so does mine..

Maizie and Peach both have their show debut on the same day Make sure you pop back on t let us know how Lily goes, I love that pupper!
