Yep I do the Million Paws Walk in Warrny, Bruno won a prize last year...

Only three more weeks and I'm walking all by myself, I'll be in here putting up details for a play date...

T&T - good to hear you're on the mend!

I've got a meeting with my specialist on April 26 so hope to receive a surgery date then. Probably off my feet for a time too, I should think.

I've not done the million paws walk before but may go along this year.

How does it all work and what is the course? Start time? etc.

Hey Jess, hope your two girls are tired from all their swimming!

Hey tez! Sadly a case of necessity at the moment, Darcy has put on a heap of weight in the 6 days I've been away  and the shallow water retreiving is the best way I can think of to pull it off her ASAP without risking cooking her or snake bite. Zee, well, tired is rarely a word I use to describe Zee. She turns 10 months old today. Crazy little squirt she is. :)

After the walk, Jane had a bit of a swim and then did zoomies in the grass. She managed to trip Allie up with the long line which looked pretty funny and one-one was hurt so all good!

Pisser  Nothing better than a good zoomie session

We went up there again tonight, so good having the lake usable again. Great that it's still warm enough to use too. :) I've missed it so much :o

Millions Paws walk... Route: meet at grassed area Pertobe Road (where carnie is each year), walk along track to breakwater then back along track on road to where started... Cant remember the cost but you an pay on the day... Money goes to RSPCA I think...

Hey JJ, what surgery are you getting? Good luck with it! not being able to walk without crutches is hell...

.....knee reconstruction AGAIN! :)

I had it done years ago but my physio screwed it up completely during rehab and it has gotten steadily worse.

I already have a Kevlar patella in there, so god knows what they'll do to me this time!

Poor girls...they looked like they hated every minute of it...NOT! Don't tell Darcy...she'll be sneaking food so you will just have to take her again and again and again :)!

Yep...its a magic place when its quiet and its just us, some cow shit and the ducks! A great way to unwind after work. I'll miss it after daylight savings finishes.

I wish daylight savings went all year round. I know there are probley some who won't agree. But I don't like the nights when I work and knock off at 6 and its dark. I wish the dog parks around here were lit up, I'd probly still go...

Ouch!! Best of luck with it JJ - hope your surgery and rehab go better this time.

I love daylight savings but I'm kind of over it at this time of year, still love the extra daylight at the end of the day but I really struggle with a lack of early morning light. I'm lucky that my job tends to be more flexible but it's still not unknown for me to get home with minimal time for working my dogs.

I spend more time at the lake in Winter because I tend to get it to myself :) I use the bike a lot up there in Winter, also just let the dogs go feral in the long grass - they love doing zoomies up and down the hill to keep warm.

Happy Easter everyone :)

Please keep in mind that i still have older dogs to re-home... 3 Male Tenterfields and 1 Female Jack my contact number again is 0402614035.......

I am looking at a house on Saturday, the owners answered my ad in the paper and the previous tenants have only just left

i am crossing everything for this :D as a situation that has arisen at my parents has made it very uncomfortable to continue living here, but i do really need to find homes for some of the kids, they need it and i need a break after so many years of just knowing ...dogs....

Take care everyone
