I have rang a couple, one said it was pet friendly, but wont allow show people with dogs as they has had troubles will dogs howling at night. Tibbiemax, it was this one: Gisborne Motel - Andrew was delightful and had special bins for when people had picked up after their dogs. That's a bit unfair to rule out show people because of dogs howling. Even non-shower's dogs can howl. ETA - You don't need to tell them you're going to a show?
