Hi all,

Does anyone have any advise for me on this?

Wuggles sleeps in between my OH and I,we bought him a nice soft bed for himself that we can put him in,still on our bed,but down the end of the bed.But he wont have anything to do with it,he either bites it,squirms out of it,and generally stays as far away as he can from it.

Is it a good idea to put it outside during the day when we are at work,just so he can get used to it,the only problem there is that he may chew it?Or,should i just keep putting him in there until he stays in there?

Any ideas will be great,thanks.

Your bed is the best option, he can see no reason to move down the ranks to sleep in a different bed. If you want him in that bed, put it on the floor and keep taking him off your bed, so he goes into it.

What reward does he get for sleeping in the new spot?

you have now trained him to sleep with you.

He gets warmth, scent, tactile comfort, and companionship. He loses all this to sleep on the new bed.
