Actually, thats not quite true, they start to slow down around age 5! :provoke:

Really? Ivy must be a dud. She'd happily sleep on my bed all day! Only getting up to eat and look/bark at people walking past the house.

She's not even two years old!

Ivy would fit right in where I train, It's a Groenendael party there :bottom: .

In Midland somewhere? I'm going to have to come along, to socialise!

I'm so smitten by her that I immediately want one, despite knowing this, and only this, about the breed:

* Working dog

* Somehow connected to the Mal, possibly being that they're sortof the same foundation....breed...stock...stuff....I'm going to stop typing now before a Mal owner attacks me and sets my facts straight...

It will take immense self-control not to keep deluding myself that I could handle that amount of energy

Whenever we have cake everyone in the club is invited to have a piece:)

BTW Belgianblue - you are more than welcome to come to Eden Hill :)

We are secretaly trying to take over the club and make it a Belgian Shepherd club :) Just don't tell the other members :rofl:

Just think how nice it would be for Ivy to play with other Belgians :)

Ivy is my first ever Belgian and I must admit, maybe it's just her lines, she's as a calm as a kitten. Even growing up she was no problems at all. She will be two in about six weeks time and I've never once been worried by her crazyness.

The Groen is the most laid back of the four and the best of the four to start your love for Belgains :)
