Acd Joint Problems In Young Dogs

Hi, I am posting this in the hope that someone who has owned Australian Cattle Dogs might be able to give me some guidance as to what might be causing the problem for my 18month old ACD, Indi, to has developed such a bad limp. Currently a vet specialist has x-rayed, used a camera to examine her joints but still cannot determine what is causing the problem. Was initially suspected arthritis, but this seems to have been ruled out - has anyone owned an ACD with similar problems that might be able to give me some guidance. :)

Definitely go to a good chiro or canine physio.

My Cavalier was limping on her front left leg and I spent thousands of dollars trying to get a diagnosis.

The physio discovered she had HD and was getting trigger points from walking incorrectly

i would be trying a bowen or doggy chiro

I agree. A friend of mine's dog was limping on her back leg and the vet couldn't find anything wrong. Then she went to a doggy chiro and found her back was out, a few adjustments and she's now as good as new. Maybe worth a try?
