I'd like to try this, because my boy doesn't like a halter on his head. He's pretty good and mostly I walk him with a flat collar, but he only needs to have one bouncy moment to make things really difficult, he outweighs me by a fair bit.

The mesh sporn specifies up to 100 pounds, but the original sporn halter in XL only says neck size and "over 90 pounds". My boy is over 150 pounds, so I wonder if it's big enough and worth trying.

Hi Labradork...I have a 2 year old lab and have recently invested in a Sporn halter and love it.

We both relax and enjoy our daily walks now.

If it works for you and your lab, that's great. Don't worry about what other people think :-)

They're not that expensive. You can get them online for around $20, but at the vets they're more like $30. That's where I got mine.

:eek: I see them for over nz$50 mostly around here. We get overcharged for everything!
