  1. I actually do think that collars and leads are expensive... doesn't stop me buying them though I want to get Banjo a leather limited slip collar... I think that will set me back around $75 so around $50 for a set isn't that bad :D
  2. I have the block and the price of this pony (pure arabian filly) is incredibly good... but I don't really need another horse Was funny, my Mum was saying it would be hard to get it past my Dad... but he has no idea of which horse is which let alone if a new one came along
  3. I consider spending around $100 for a collar and lead set for the dogs expensive! From the site Ptolomy posted, it would cost $140 and not even including postage, for 2 collar/lead sets, crazy!!!! Why do you think the poor sods have had the same set for goodness knows how long :D (That and I am a fussy bugger when it comes to getting things to match!) My dogs aren't princesses, they only think they are, so no crystal collars for them :p From the website you posted though it is only around $100 for both sets then I can't imagine postage would be that huge... maybe another $25 since they aren't bulky items. That can be the dogs' Christmas present
  4. I just went and saw the collars you like RS, and all I can say is you think they are expensive? I saw a pretty collar at Equitana... it was only $185 (multi-layer leather with swarovski crystals) :D
  5. I have found a new pony I want too I am meant to be cutting down on numbers though (have sold 2 and have 3 more to sell)....
  6. Happy birthday to Lara yesterday And happy birthday to Hemi today RS, I would go opposite to what Mas suggested. Put the cream one on Millie and the brown one on Ruby! For those wanting to go to Wicked I will email you tonight
  7. Start time is 6.30pm. We can do dinner and drinks after - I know I can get the Monday off too or at least not go in until lunchtime RS,AP and anyone else who definitely wants to come can you send me a PM with your email address please ;)
  8. We decided to just do a group booking (12 tickets) for the 31st July 6 tickets already have homes ;) We are row D towards the middle
  9. Could everyone thinking of coming to see Wicked send me a PM please I wouldn't mind booking tickets asap to try and get good seats. Cost will be between $130 and $150 per person. Dates I am currently looking at are Sunday 3 or 31 July (great seats available on the 31) - both 6.30pm shows or Sat 13 August at 8pm or 2.30pm. Or if anyone else can suggest dates that may be ok let me know... looking at the Dogswest calendar they seem the best so far
  10. A few WA shows hold neuter classes, including Wanneroo Ag Show which was last weekend. I didn't look at the programme that closely but there were not many neuter entries at all. In fact at most shows in WA where I have seen neuter classes held you are lucky to get 1 or 2 per group. But then the only shows who have put on the classes are the ones that always have. Now that I have finally transfered my girl to the Neuter register (only took 18 months ) I will probably enter her in any that I would already be attending.
  11. Those photos are just scary of the fire! It got close to the property that my pony (real one he is only 11.2hh!) has recently been sold too! If it is deliberately lit fires can start anywhere And there is a lot of bushland around that area.
  12. Not quite true Banjo isn't any more into an isqueak than he is a tennis ball I like isqueaks though as they are easier to find when I throw them into long grass I don't want to know what my dumbell throwing will be like! Emery, so sorry to hear about your little girl Hopefully they are resolved soon. Mason, well done to your boy Well my brag for today... Banjo is now a "real" farm kelpie! Today he decided he was confident enough to ride on the back of the quad bike without being held by anyone In fact I had to kick him off as I was only game to go up to about 12km/hr and I still had one paddock of horses to feed and when he is running next to the quad I can do 35km/hr or more and he keeps up He has been happy to jump onto the quad seat for a while but today was the first day he decided it wasn't so bad when the quad started to move
  13. Oh no! Any idea what might be wrong? Gentle (((hugs))) to Lincoln.
  14. If it doesn't happen this time I have been told it will happen next time... but I have been told that several times now
  15. Just coz they are vets doesn't mean they aren't dumb! I have gone to a couple of vets and left shaking my head at some of the things they have said to me! Luckily I know enough to get a second opinion. As for Bondi Vet, I have never watched it so can't comment
  16. Well I just heard I have no agility for the rest of the year Both Abbey and Jenna have decided to go into season! And I am not going to drive all that way for the Dobe Club trial just for Banjo to do jumping. Oh well at least that means both girls are available for the CCC Teams and the Western Classic unless their Mums' breed them (which is unlikely since they weren't meant to be in season before Dec!) Will still come to the Christmas party next Tuesday though unless something comes up at work
  17. Bugger :D I have Team Penning starting at 5.30pm. It is Kinta's birthday as well I am sure you will all enjoy yourself without me though
  18. I was bored to death in West Side Story... RS I wanted to see Boy From Oz with the judge from So you think you can dance!! Never came to Perth tho.. ETD are we doing an xmas dinner or bbq this year? Matt Lee was Bert in Mary Poppins He even danced upside down on the roof I loved The Boy From Oz too
  19. What nights are good for everyone? I know Tuesdays are out Oh and I saw Mary Poppins while in Melbourne. It was fantastic! But then I didn't mind Cats or West Side Story either - although neither were anywhere near as good as Mary Poppins
  20. Any one still interested in going to see Wicked when it is in Perth in June? We are looking at organising a group booking
  21. vCBR. As someone who has done similar recently I know what you are going through atm. While I was very sad to rehome Robi and drove away in tears the relief I felt knowing that I had no more fights to break up and that I didn't have to worrry about keeping the two dogs seperate in a small house for fear one would seriously injure the other was phenomenol. In fact it was only after Robi went that I realised how stressed I was! (((hugs)))
  22. I am back ;) Although I am a bit scared to find out how many pages I will have to read to catch up on gossip
  23. Mine did it the other week although not to the same extent as yours :D Just went off a couple of times when it was in the kitchen and the dogs were in the bedroom with me! Are you sure the cat didn't decide to play with it?
  24. OzJen, this event is the teams one at Cloverdale. Thought we could try a team of the two Aussies and Amanda's two poodles if everyone can make it But figure out what is on and we will talk about it (well you can talk I will sign/write :D ) on Saturday. Went to Dr today. 2 minute consult with him telling me drugs won't work and I just need to not talk but it should sort itself out in a few days ;) It is going to be a really interesting time though - do you know how much talking you usually do when you do something simple like shopping? I think everyone will think I am a snob by the time I can talk again
