  1. Even less tomorrow, I think only 25 in Grp 7. That's pretty poor entry. I 'heard' that some local exhibitors are showing in Melbourne this weekend. Would have been nice if they had supported their local Kennel Club and Show. That is unfair, how do you know they didn't help out in the form of donations or help during the year ? Just because a show is in your back yard doesn't mean you have to enter.
  2. standards are based on an adult dog, they don't allow for growing puppies.
  3. No doubt Group 1 will be indoors, god knows why. They should all be outside TOGETHER And yes I have dogs in 1 & 7.

  9. Does anyone have a conversion of show results between Aust and the US? I want to send it to someone but thought I would ask if there was already one before I made one up. Thanks :)
  10. Walkie talky will work for you. Yeah but you have to train the dogs to use it I don't want to know what mine are thinking, I only want to be able to tell them to shut up if barking
  11. You could use a second car battery - not hard wired in and run it off that. (this is what I do for fans at shows)

  17. My vets waiting room is very large and has two sides to it, but that doesn't stop the idiots standing the middle or blocking the door access.
  18. I had a great day, Hudson the Affen was RUBIG and Inter in show. My home bred Danes were shown under a breed specialist and my 7 month old was awarded a 9 point BOB and Minor in group and his litter brother was awarded RUBOB and Shiney Pants was Bitch CC.
  19. It was wonderful to see vali win best In show, the look on your face was priceless. We all knew you had won BIS but you stood there frozen - well done !
  20. Buy bigger crates. They go up to 54" ;-) http://www.ebay.com....te&LH_PrefLoc=1 easy enough to transport folded up in the back of a wagon with the seats down, or set up in the back of a van. They maybe long enough for a large dog but they are certainly not tall enough or wide enough for legs to stretch out. Our Danes have crates that are 120cm square, I can just see that in the waiting room
  21. People are selfish, they stand in door ways at the vets just like they do at shops. No common courtesy what so ever.
