  1. I think I would compare my dogs regardless of breed. Not in a 'x was better than y' way but I always think about the differences between my dogs and what qualities I prefer in each of them
  2. I am pretty fussy so I have more trouble finding a breed I want to own than finding too many. I have had: - A Cherry (maybe chi x tibbie but who knows LOL) - Siberian Husky - Beagle My next dog will be a field bred English Springer but I also want a working line Malinois. That's it though  I love Sibes and Beags but not sure if I will own them again.
  3. No worries Rainy. If you could email it to me at [email protected] that would be super - Steve doesn't generally handle customer service or order related emails :) thanks for your feedback!
  4. Hey Rainy - sorry to hear you weren't happy with the quality of your purchase. Do you mind if I ask what it was and what the problem was? Your feedback will help us prevent other customers from experiencing a similar issue :)
  5. Hey FB! I have a medium sized crate (in both soft and metal) for my beagle who is about 14kg and just over 40cm tall, so I'd say a Frenchie would fit nicely in a small crate, depending on how roomy you wanted it. The measurements for each crate size are on our website too :)
  6. I've always found this notion quite silly, dogs as pack animals will all sleep together for comfort and security, not apart. My dogs can come on my bed and furniture when I say so and they get off when I say so. My beagle sleeps with me every night. No leadership problems here, though sometimes I wake up and she is asleep with her head on my pillow, I wonder what that means??
  7. I agree, I never run pups with adult dogs unless under strict supervision. I would definitely separate them.
  8. The boss is very cool! Though I love the leather in the premium leather harness we make, it's my favourite http://www.k9pro.com.au/products/K9-Pro-Premium-Leather-Harness.html - if only I had an excuse to get one for Daisy  I use my DT harness all the time, and our latest editions (Steve's two Malinois pups) practically live in them. Will PM you re discount :)
  9. I can't believe it was that long ago already either. I hope justice prevails in this case as well, such a tragic story.
  10. No worries Kahlua, PM sent :) LOL we all saw it Maree!
  11. Sorry CBD, it's in off topic and you need a certain number of posts to see it. I'll PM you the discount code :)
  12. You know it's bad when Steve catches you on a spelling error, Maree
  13. I've been waiting for you or Steve to make a comment like that
  14. Wow! Definitely weird advice there. I have flown my dogs before and had no dramas. IMO it is easier if you don't have a dog who is nervous or frightened by loud noises or strange environments, and if they are already crate trained so they comfortable and happy to be in an airline crate. If the dog is healthy and happy I don't see why there would be any issues with flying it.
  15. Hey RL1, none of our harnesses are made specifically for car travel (they are mostly all designed for training purposes) but they can suit that purpose. I like either of the Dean and Tyler harnesses (http://www.k9pro.com.au/categories/Dog-Harnesses/Nylon-Harnesses/) as that's what I use. They are light weight but really durable :)
  16. Hey Roguedog If it was years ago, you would probably have bought from us when we were still K9 Force - we basically are a different business now in many ways and didn't have the online store then like we do now so insurance wouldn't have been an option. We did still stock some products then but only a few things and not to the volume we have now. I am really glad you are getting a harness through us - which one were you looking at?
  17. We would have been closed on Christmas Eve and then Steve was away in January so it may have just gotten lost - if you want resend it to me and I can help you out :) [email protected] As Megan said our DLPs are currently unavailable as Steve is redesigning them but we are aiming to have them ready by the end of next month :) Thanks everyone for the great feedback
  18. Thanks Cavstar! I always have my eye on a couple of things, it's why my house is overflowing with dog gear
  19. Thanks so much Piper! All fixed now, so glad someone noticed and let me know, how daft am I??
  20. Must have changed :) When I bought stuff before, I had to place the order then pay then send an email with receipt details. Like I said, it didn't really bother me and I certainly never had any delivery problems! No worries KTB! And thank you for your lovely feedback. Paypal has always been an option since we've had the store and it's instant, but with direct debit obviously we need to wait till the money clears in our account, and we like you to send us an email letting us know the receipt number for the deposit so we can match the funds when they come through. I always use paypal because I am impatient
  21. Hey KTB, we have paypal as a payment option which is all automated, as well as direct debit (payment details are emailed through automatically). Unless I've misunderstood you I'm not sure what you mean
  22. Haha! He decided he likes the top better too!  I am not surprised! Fat Shandi (my cat) gives her tick of approval!
  23. Love it! I have one of those too  She hasn't discovered the new crates yet but I am sure it is just a matter of time. Kahlua - told you it would be a matter of time! I only set this new crate up this afternoon
  24. Maybe they just aren't contacting us to chase their order up, because it is rare that we get a lost order. I'll have to keep a better eye on the K9 Pro threads on DOL, as I still can't recall that large a number of people posting on here about lost orders, but then again I don't read every thread either  ETA: have you ever placed an order with us Melzawelza?
