  1. I haven't been able to pop into the waiting room the last couple of days, but you have been in my thoughts everyday...
  2. Certainly need some of that coffee this morning Notsodogless, we are running late so school, but I just had to check on here first. Reading Hotfurball's post has made me start crying again thinking of all Jane and her dogs have been through..
  3. Thinking of you Jane and your family.. Its raining and cold here today, just the day for staying in doors, might just sit down in one of these bean bags if no one minds. Hope its ok to have my four cavalier girls in here, I know they are a favourite of Janes.
  4. I felt such a wave of relief wash over me reading this update Toohey.. I am also shedding some tears but this time they are tears tinged with some happiness. We will all be here waiting for you Jane when you are ready to have "vistors"..
  5. Jane I think i have only just realised what a long road to recovery you have ahead of you, we will be there every step of the way sending you our healing thoughts. I like many others find myself back in this thread several times a day, I think this has become a place of comfort for me knowing so many others are thinking of you as well.
  6. Great news, just goes to show having a dog makes everyone feel better, even Charlie..
  7. I too thank everyone for their updates and I hope that Jane gets better day by day. My thoughts and prayers are for her and her loved ones, four legged and two..
  8. I am at a loss for words, I so wanted Magnus to be found safe, Jane deserves just that little bit of comfort that having Magnus would have given her..
  9. I hugged my cavaliers a little more tightly last night, and cried tears for all those that Jed has lost.. I hope today brings Magnus home...
  10. Everytime I think about what Jed must have gone through early this morning my tears start to fall.. I am so sorry this has happened to you Jed and your beloved dogs.. My thoughts are with you and your family.
  11. You do a wonderful thing Steve/foster cares etc, and the dog owners must feel much better knowing that their beloved pet is being looked after..
  12. What as in move on to another dog?? OMG that is so sad... Poor Max..
  13. The girl on the far right is my Miss Lily... I am so happy to hear that you will be picking Fern up and bringing her home today..
  14. Come on Fern do wee wee's so the vet and mum will not worry so much..
  15. Sending lots of postitive vibes your little girls way...
  16. MissyPriss, Go outside and spend sometime doing what he loves to do.. As for how we are to cope with things like this, I have no idea, I have not had to go through this and my heart is breaking just by reading what you are going through.. Thinking of you..
  17. Molly, I was giving my reason why I wasn't reaching a conclusion, either of condemnation or support re the 2nd issue in this saga....the death of the horse. Not saying that the RSPCA had to let me personally see the vet records. However, note my final sentence about the judicial review process. Oh I understood your post, I was just saying that as the rspca do not need to answer to anyone therefore they will not allow anyone to see the vets report.. (I did realise you weren't asking to see the report personally).. But the legal owner was the rspca not the foster carer so what rights would she have to see the vets report?
  18. Oh Italmum how heartbreaking for yourself and your children..
  19. I usually have you on ignore. Once more with feeling....the situation re adoption cost was resolved. A clear statement was made that there'd been poor customer service. Next move was a local decision of a veterinary nature to return the horse to the RSPCA with a vague media report referring to some necessity to make health OK for adoption. I've said I want to see veterinary notes on which that decision was based. And then on the period of 'care' until the horse was PTS for colic. The notes I'd like to see as evidence are those of a professional, not an administrator...at this point. I'd need evidence to draw a conclusion. If I were the owner of the horse, I'd make use of the judicial review process. Mita, I know you say you want to see vet notes but the RSPCA will not release any, as they are not accountble to anyone and as she was the horses foster carer I doubt she would be able to get these notes released to her.. Another case that will just get forgotten about in a couple of weeks when the media and the public move onto something else...
