  1. You're a brave woman Ptolomy - but those tollers can do anything :D
  2. Don't really care with mine, my dogs have small dry tongues, but not in the mouth! Trixie does the occasional toe lick too, that's a bit gross. My brothers Kelpie X dog is the WORST licker and she always manages to get it right in your mouth when you think you are on guard, makes me want to vomit!! I regret it whenever I camp on the couch at his place and get woken up by a licking dog
  3. Yes there are quite a few products out there, Mushers secret, Tuf-Foot, Pad Tough, Pad-Heal, and more. I have Pad heal but haven't really used it enough yet to comment on it. The Pad heal has these ingredients just to give you an idea: Raw Linseed Oil, Spirit of Turpentine, Pure Menhaden Oil, Balsam of Fir, Bees Wax, Oil of Virtiol
  4. The jump cups problem is probably because the 'size' of PVC is generally the inside diameter, so if you add the pipe thickness that's what size the jump cups will be (something that has hurt my brain in the past)
  5. Ewwwww Rusky I can't believe everyone braved this horrible weather!!
  6. I rather dislike cats and can't see me ever owning one, my OH feels the same. Don't really mind patting other people's cats or playing with kittens if given the opportunity and if they are nice but no cats for me as pets thanks
  7. Would one of those enablers be Ososwift by any chance? Thanks God there is nothing left on there I want (I think - not game to go and check )
  8. God I could just picture that, you big girl We used to have cockroach fights too - they don't bother me unless they leap on me when I'm not expecting them (they quite often hide in the work mail :p )
  9. Oh and for the readers - Rusky was SO close to two clear rounds she could practically lick them!!! Mr Guinness was an absolute star - unfortunately he missed ONE weave pole in agility, and knocked ONE jump in Jumping!! Rusky you are doing so well with that crazy man he's coming together so nicely, so good to watch, your work will pay off next year I reckon!
  10. He was happy in his first run - just not sure what flicked his switch but it was a pretty major flick!? Hahahh yes and no - I didn't deliberately make her miss the jump but I am happy to stay in Excellent for as long as I can - it's my favourite class :D :p
  11. My update - bit of a mixed bag, didnt accomplish all that I wanted with Kyzer, got some things but not all, but very happy with Trixie's year. Bring on next year
  12. Awww I saw the photos of the Goldy & JRT - soo cute!
  13. Oh yeah I forgot about the video! Poor old one jump Ruby Hopefully the next MJ course won't be so twisty and confusing! Well done ST - must be nice being able to show Charlie's babies!
  14. I do believe in him, hence my perseverance! He has the skills to do it, he's just crazy! So I don't know what I will get on the day - keeps me on my toes You're a puppy claimer!
  15. Yes a puppy fix is good, they are just so cute and fluffy too! Fingers crossed you get your Lappie girlie next year! (and maybe a Kelpie baby? ) My update: At the trial on Saturday *shock horror* I did get one Q card but... it was with Kyzer He got a quallie in ADX He went a bit wobbly/wide though and also seemed to take forever on the seesaw not moving forward enough to tip it, but still passed and even beat the other 300 dog much to my amusement He wigged out and shut down in JDM - not sure what triggered it - the worst he has been in a very long time... he'll enjoy the break over Summer, will probably just play with him, minimal training if any. Trixie was a good little bean and tried her heart out but alas it wasn't to be, completely demolished the spread jump in Agility (don't think she saw it when coming at top speed out of the tunnel ) but everything else including the tricky weave entry (not long after the spread demolition) which I was happy with. In her Excellent jumping debut we were going great guns but she missed a jump (helps if the handler tells her to take it ) but I thought I'd take the trainer wheels off and hang back and try and push her for some distance and was very pleased with how she went Can't wait for next year, just so happy with how she's gone in her first four trials. Being the Dobe club trial I did get quite a few of the Dobe people coming to meet Trixie, black & tan fans and I could hear them talking at the stewarding table about the 'mini dobe' heheh!
  16. Welcome back RV!!! Bet your holiday already feels like a distant memory Wow Mirawee, what a weekend for you and the Lappie brigade - that Anikka is going to be one to watch! She can do no wrong. Well done to Arlo too, doing so well considering he was a late starter! I bet you are just loving having these dogs to show and doing so well with them too! Poor Banjo - broken ears
  17. Which harness? I don't think any are suitable for tracking, dang it! :D Tiggy, I have the ConfortFlex sports harness - really like it - Rory got his ET and TD on it this year. It's fine for tracking IMHO. I liked it so much I got another one - for Kirra - though she already has a Black Dog one. Yep I got the comfortflex one - in Berry :D
  18. Why did you edit? What did you say? :p I just added your name so it didn't look like I was laughing at Sway Nope they will be confiscated
  19. Yeah, I slipped and fell on the mouse, several times.
  20. Yep they would be shipped then. They usually say 'processing' if they haven't been shipped. I accidentally made another order last night too... needed a harness and they look great and such a good price, and also some other stuff! Mostly toys!
  21. What about something like this: http://www.oscillot.com.au/index.htm Designed for cats but would probably work for a climbing dog?
  22. Wow how exciting Wazzat! Is she the same size as the other two?
  23. That's interesting, my favourite Greyhounds are black , followed by Fawn
