  1. Bull terrier, pointer, whippet or greyhound. Looks like fallen arches? Maybe some ligament problem. Her legs and feet definitely don't look right. Cute kid.
  2. Oh, my heart jumped just reading about it. Well done Hero Atlas.
  3. Yes, your description is correct. I have just learnt how to do this If you are willing to take my first ever made, email me please.
  4. No!! Roux will not let any of the cats near Blind Chrissy. It's the only time she looks like she might have a go. The 'under the desk' crate is the favoured spot for all of them. Silk, old black cat, will sit and complain at me if Roux beats him to it, and likewise she sits with a pathetic face if he is in there first. If the kittens beat her, she just harrasses them until they leave. Angree was obviously feeling tough:)
  5. I am sorry. Relish the time you have left and be grateful that your time together was so long and wonderful. Sorry, it all jsut sounds so trite. ....
  6. You're welcome, glad you were able to get it to work! Thank you so much. If you ever want some gear, it wil be at 'mate's rates' Am very grateful.
  7. Trina, I think I might owe you a collar and/or leash.... Thank you so much.
  8. Gee, if you are able to do this, I can be patient...welll try to be. Are you able to explain in 'untrained monkey simple' terms how to put text below my avatar?
  9. Would someone please make a signature for me using a few pics, joined together, of collars? I have absolutely no idea about this stuff. There are lots more pics of different styles but I thought I should wait until someone agrees to assist. H.e.l.pppppppp....please.
  10. Why not neuter the dogs as well as some extra training.
  11. Roux has always 'talked' in her sleep. She also gets the hiccoughs when sleeping. Always interesting.
  12. Couldn't see the videos very well (due to 'puter) so would love to see piccies of your kids. I have an Italian Greyhound and am most interested to see various crosses.
  13. Thank you so much. Will now go looking. Thank you.
  14. Does anyone here have the phone number for George Scholfield or Schofield, the gentleman with the magic touch for dog muscles? My Vets know of him but told me he was retired. Would be very, very grateful for a contact. Can someone hlep, please.
  15. Coprophagia can sometimes be indicative of an enyme not being present in the dog's stomach/gut. Feeding steamed or boiled pumpkin can sort it out. Good luck.
  16. At least he died quickly. A good thing that you were able to relate his last moments to the owner. Not knowing what happened would be dreadful. I feel sad for her.
  17. I feed a kinda modified version of BARF. It is so much cheaper, no packaging rubbish and certainly not farty bums!! I use fresh minced beef, roo or venison mixed up with porridge, grated carrots, frozen peas and corn (the cats love the corn) and some Phuds. Costs me about $10 a week to feed 4 - three large cats and one Iggy. Sometimes I add chicken legs, wings or mince. Fresh meaty bones every now and then. Sometimes I add oil and sardines. They do all do very well. I love the lack of mess and rotten empty cans and wrappers. It is an added bonus that it is so much cheaper.
  18. I use garlic for the dog, cats and horses (although I may stop -whole other story) and it does seem to slow down insect bites but there is no way I would trust it as a heartworm preventative. My girl gets her annual injection.
  19. What a beautiful face! I chose my Italian Princess from a photo when not even contemplating buying a pup. The breeder was just happily showing pics of the pups and Roux caught my eye. She was 'posted' to me from SA to Vic at eight and a half weeks. Was very definitely one of my better decisions in life. Please forgive my ignorance, what breed is this little beauty. She looks a little like a friend's pup which is an Australian Terrier(?) I think.
