Sorry can't help answer your post whelping question - but my girl was x-rayed in Norway and came back with A hips at 2 years of age - I redid them in Perth at age 2 3/4's and less than a week later she came into season and her scores were 1,1

6 little Toller babies joined us in the very early hours of this morning - 4 boys and 2 girls. The last little boy weighed in at 445 grams and got a little bit stuck - but hopefully he will be OK. I couldn't ask for a better birthday present
-
Good luck any news yet? she is a bit unsettled and refused dinner - but is sitting here next to me sharing potato chips!
-
Looks like we have our temperature drop happening and she will eat if I hand feed her only. So sometime in the next 24 hours maybe

RV - what are the two different collars Zora has on? -
For those of you not on WA Click or FB - Jaffa was found this afternoon in bushland in Chidlow Now if only she could tell us what she has been up to for the last 6 days!

Keep up the good work Dogmate Vet doesn't think Chica will last until Thursday - so I may get my birthday presents early She now has a new hair cut allowing easy access to the milk bar (Chica not the vet) I was sent home to start taking her temperature - which was normal - so I will see what it is doing in the morning and decide if I will be going to work or not.

Apparently Jaffa was sighted on Friday in bushland near Zoe's house - so can people keep spreading the word that she is still missing. Much appreciated
-
Thanks LP yes i will keep something - but maybe not here.

Congratulations Blitza - just had a look at the photos on your website Lovely babies. I bet you become very attached to this little girl Dogmate - if she survives she has fighting qualities which will wriggle their way to your heart. My girl is due on Thursday - looks like she has eaten a basketball. Onto three meals a day because she just can't fit 2 big ones in. I set the whelping box up today and will start taking temps on Tuesday.

Have you tried scent matching and taking the cloths out of the equation altogether? So get people to scent 2 pegs, 2 soaps, 2 boxes, 2 tic tac containers? alternatively go back to the clothes and put one out in amongst something totally different - so 5 cans with a scented by somebody else wash cloth in amongst them?
-
Yes posts all over FB but if you could share that would be fantastic - she still hasn't been found

Good luck dogmate

Zoe has just got home to find Jaffa ( 7year old toller girl red with white chest and black nose) missing, possibly due to the storm she has managed to get out of the house yard. Could people in the Chidlow area keep an eye open for Jaffa and if sighted call Zoe on her mobile 0419906785 Local vets have been contacted. Please pass this message around to people in WA - we need to find her

Another successful litter has landed - congratulations sheslikablebibear Can I ask why the caesar?

Last night I braved the DWD ring for the second time with the occasionally clever one - I thought 3 minute sit stays were bad - but 1min 30 trying to pretend that I knew what I was doing - seemed like a lifetime Scoota ignored the fact that I wore a blonde wig and did a good job winning the ring for his HWM S title. Hard to believe I did ballroom dancing in a past life
-
Congratulations Smisch on your first litter

Precious little bundles

Congratulations Choc Bodercollie - when you get a chance we would love to see photos

Blitza - how come your girl is in Tassie - did she go back to the breeder for this litter?

Hugs RV - I am glad Toby got to have a last wander round at home. He was such a lucky boy to have you - most people would have given up on him a long time ago - but you stuck by him through thick and thin. Its these special dogs that hurt so much more when we have to say goodbye
